GGG Finally Getting What He Wants

......welterweights moving up, he's been hanging around 160 all these years for one reason alone to fight welterweights moving up. What has been his MO the past 3 years? Calling out Floyd, Canelo, and now Kell Brook, anything to get a smaller man in the ring with him.

34 years old and not once coming close to moving up to 168, ridiculous when you started your career at 160. Dude is clearly trying to pull a Hagler but as someone pointed out before there was no super middleweight division in Haglers day, he'd have to go straight to 175.

Golovkin fans should see now that he is exposed, fighting smaller guys is not what the " most feared" fighter in boxing should be doing......knock out bigger men in higher weight classes if he wants to impress his detractors! What exactly does beating an unproven Kell Brook do for his career?

So he's doing exactly what Hopkins did ? Waiting on Oscar and Trinadad to make their way up from 147. And we know how that guys career ended up...

"I see Golovkin being a better 168lb fighter than he is a middleweight.
I don't think there's anybody at 168lbs that's going to give him trouble, either. It's just a matter of getting more belts and moving on."

LOL, while Ward is fighting SMW Brand after trying to get several other SMW guys to move up to 175 to face him.

GGG has been calling out the other guys in the MW division but they all ducked him, he called out Froch and Froch retired. Hearn is the one who had Brook as a backup and the Eubanks made a deal impossible, so Hearn went with plan B.

Plenty of posters say GGG is ducking Lara but if he were to fight Lara, he'd catch the same flack for fighting another smaller guy. This fight sucks but if guys would step in the ring with him instead of losing their balls, he could get this unification done.

Hopkins is a bona fide lght heavyweight champion in addition to sending De La Hoya and Tito back to the weight class from wence they came. Seriously dude don't try to compare Golovkin to BHop cause there is no comparison....likewise don't compare Brook to Hoya or Tito, two fighters who have proved themselves time again!

I shouldn't even have to point it out surely you see the flaw in your own logic!

Golovkin has also spent all these years trying to get every middleweight worth a damn in the ring and had almost all of them duck him, including right now.

Fighting Brook is indefensible, but it doesn't mean Golovkin didn't try to fight better or suddenly erase the cowardice of the rest of the middleweight division.

If he's having so much difficulty making fights with "middleweights worth a damn" then why is he still at 160? People talk shot about Floyd but I recall when he couldn't get fights with Nas, Frietas, Cotto, Hatton he moved up in weight, he didn't just sit there at 135, 140 waiting for somebody from a lower weight class to give him an opportunity, he went up and took it!

Golovkin has shown no ambition to take glory, he just sitting around letting his fans build his legend while his resume underwhelme!

Yeah he did all that after waiting for 2 welterweights to come to him. Brook could have cleaned out 147 and it still wouldn't matter, he'd be a huge underdog and people would still cry about the fight.

People like you act like GGG career is over, who knows what he will do in the next few years. The fight is free, unlike the Other farce that happened in May so just relax, watch the fight and move on... Who knows, maybe a middleweig will actually want to fight GGG next time around.

Why are these people not attacking Jacobs, Saunders, Eubanks...?

The excuses from GGG nuthuggers are pathetic. They are quickly to criticize other fighter, but when their favorite fighter do it, they turn a blind eye.
