They both desperately need a win!
I wish fans would stop letting meaningless title belts cloud there judgement when it comes to where fighters fall in line. And what fights matter.

Look at Vargas. He won a belt that Bradley, who beat him easily, vacated. He fought an untested prospect. I don't see a logical way to put him ahead of Bradley on the welterweight food chain. When Bradley's only sin is that he can't beat Manny Pacquiao.

Garcia isn't as bad, but he's close. He won a vacant belt. He beat Guerrero, who realistically lost his previous fight to a C level bum. And maybe you can't hold what Garcia did at jr welterweight against him. But he lost that fight to Herrera. Look at how Herrera fared against Frankie Gomez. I thought Garcia lost to Peterson. Only thing Danny's done as a welterweight is beat a washed up Malignaggi. And a washed up Guerrero. I don't see how anyone in their right mind could rate him above Bradley or Porter.

And Garcia and Vargas fighting each other proves nothing. They're both at least in the third tier in the welterweight food chain. They both need to beat somebody above them to be relevant. I don't care if they have 100 belts.

No way would this happen from Brook end, they would be talking about Khan even when he is retired, dumb fans would then lap it up.

LOL at the fallacy Thurman has trouble getting top opposition to fight him. The only person turning him down is Danny Garcia. Danny has better options like the more popular and bigger draw in Adrien Broner or Floyd. Thurman is not at that level. Danny would have to drop down the ladder to Thurmans level. Brook, Porter, Broner & Floyd are all better options. Thurman lost to Porter. He doesn't want it with Brook. He is just talking noise. He should be focused on rematching Porter since he got a bogus decision. Watch him take a soft touch instead and blame Danny. Danny will fight a name while Thurman turns down Spence for a lesser opponent.

Danny Garcia is at the top of the food chain. Thats why everyone and their mama is calling him out. Hate it or love it the underdogs on top. Guerrero lost to mayweather and garcia. Was beating the dog shit out of Thurman late in the fight. He beat Guerrero more convincingly than Thurman did. Has fought the better competition. He is the air apparent to Floyd. He sits on the throne at WW. Floyd knows he's the best guy out there. That's why Floyd might come out and challenge him for the ultimate challenge. 50-0 against the best active WW.
