If Cotto vacated the belt after he beat Sergio and fought Canelo his next fight instead of the Top Rank/Roc Nation drama and fighting a voluntary fight against Geale then Cotto and Canelo would neither of had that belt or it be on the line in their fight and nobody is talking either as being Middleweights when both clearly aren't. Dumping the belt and going back to 154 will fix a lot of that.
Moving down now, and for this reason, only hurts his cause.
And we don't even know how long he can actually stay at 154.

And Canelo doesn't own ****. Cotto-Canelo drew 900k, NOT Canelo. And giving Ginger credit for Floyd? Joke.
Canelo owns a 350K PPV with Lara (while making 6m, which was great) and a 460K PPV with Khan (while making 15-20m, which was a huge flop).
As for ...375 crazy, 460 wrong because impossible to know cable # on Wednesday, and Oscar closer than anyone.

145k buys thru Directv (~26% market share) extrapolates to 560k buys total. Directv is only reliable number this early. What am I missing?

The same source that said GGG did 150k said Canelo/Khan did 600k. You know the same guy who said 150K that you quote when your panties are in a bunch because idiots quote the phony 97k figure. I get it when he talks about GGG's numbers they are correct but he's lying when he talks about Canelo doing 600k? LMAOLast edited by bigdunny1; 06-24-2016, 04:42 PM.

Only an idiot thinks he's a middleweight or moving down a lot of weight. He is simply choosing to cut 1 pound to shut up all the GGG fools calling him a middleweight. He's never weighed 160 or fought a 160 fighter. He's been fighting at 155 against other Jr Middleweights in NON title fights. Until Cotto dragged a middleweight title into the picture.
You act like he's dropping 8 pounds or something in danger of missing weight. Bro it's 1 pound! LMAO
none of this is making any sense.

Point is Canelo didn't miss weight. He negotiated a 1 pound increase early in the week because it was a non title fight.
