Seeing for more than the whole fight was worth.
The fighter tested dirty but they still wanted the fight to go on. Bizarro world

Unless I'm mistaken by what I've read but they're probably going to win this lawsuit as he fell within the competition limits. So this IS defamation and the fight should have gone on. Just look at what half the posters in here are saying "Pedvekin" :/... Pac won a lawsuit over mayweather from what I recall and dude was only accused. Povetkin was not only accused but they pulled out. This isn't good for them..they may not win 34 mil but they're going to win. Testing within the threshold isn't even considered "failing" a test.
I don't know much about this as other posters but I'm trying to put 2 and 2 together and it seems Povetkin is technically in the right. Right? Someone explain if I'm wrong please

Wilder defamed Povetkin by saying he took meldonium after tests showed meldonium in his system. Is VADA also being sued? They said the same thing. This guy is a character. And this is the reason the WBC will call for the fight. They don't have the money to keep defending frivolous lawsuits in court. They'll probably institute some type of stringent testing for Povetkin for a certain period and if he passes they'll call for the fight.

The WBC put a stop to this fight happening based on all of the articles I've read. Their reason for stopping the fight was because of Povetkins failed test. To me This is a WOB problem not a Wilder problem. If they feel defamed take it up with the WBC because the WBC informed folks of the failed test. Funny thing is I've only read/heard the WOB claim the level of substance was below WADA limit. I've yet to see anything confirming or denying this. I wish someone would confirm If WOB is telling the truth about the level of drugs in Povetkins system. I tend to think they're lying because if they're being truthful the WBC had no reason to stop this fight. Yet still all the fiasco regarding defamation and losses of revenue starts and ends with the WBC and WOB not Wilder IMO.
