Crawford and Spence have potential... but it's too early to say how good they are gonna be. Apart from them 2 there is just lots and lots of craap or very average Black American fighters.

- Wilder is an undefeated champion and he tried to fight Povetkin. He's slightly unproven, but he can't be hated on right now.
- Mayweather is P4P#1.
- Ward is the best fighter at 175lbs and below, half-European half-American Black, the two best races in boxing.
- Timothy Bradley is a true elite fighter, having beaten everyone he fought, including Marquez and tons of undefeated fighters, with his only 3 losses coming against Pacquiao.
- Crawford is a proven elite fighter and that will be all the more clear when he beats the **** out of Postol.
- Errol Spence is the guy who made Thurman so scared that he didn't even want to fight him with a Mayweather fight being the reward!
- There are many other solid American boxers who, while not elite, are competive. For example Shawn Porter, Keith Thurman, Adrien Broner, Andre Dirrell, Anthony Dirrell, etc.

Shot out to the Ghost Kelly Pavlik, he could have done much more with his career but he was a pleasure to watch during his time. If he stayed active we probably would have seen him fight GGG, Ward, Degale by now. Daaaa welll.....

Willie Pep was a freaking defensive artist and imo one of the top 30 fighters of all times, Marciano was great but clearly behind Pep. Other than these 2 there were a lot of white American champions but I can't recall any of them that I can really call great (Not including the times where black fighters weren't allowed to fight white fighters).

Although Marciano’s legacy is often derided because of the quality of his opposition, he must be given credit for being the first white champion to consistently defend his title against black fighters. In total he made six title defenses, against Jersey Joe Walcott, Ronald La Starza, Ezzard Charles (twice), Don ****ell, and Archie Moore. He also beat a faded Joe Louis in 1951, in what was Louis’ final bout.
