people dont understand you have to build a brand.
The only established fighters he had were showtime regulars so PBC was a platform to build guys up
I think its a great idea and when guys like Thurman or Broner have a worthy PPV opponent and following, their numbers will be better because more fans got to see them on reg t.v. as opposed to fighting on PPV undercards as support bouts.

Haha
Negga give it a break!
Last time herring fought he headlined a FS1 card that was a disaster in the ratings department. Something like 150k I think.
Now Haymon is spending millions of dollars for an espn timeshare to put him up as a headline fighter. This is a complete waste of $ and will accomplish nothing, just like how PBC accomplished nothing in 2015 with all that $ they spent.
PBC is already dead, writing is on the wall. They are just trying to limit loses while they figure out what the heck to do with the rest of the $.
Probably saving it for all of haymons lawsuits.

But yeah, it is kind of crazy that Haymon paid millions for these time slots.
Obviously, these are cards full of guys that don't demand big purses...which shows that PBC is seriously trying to reduce their losses....but I would rather guys like this than fighters who demand high purses yet don't deliver.
