    That is kind of sad.
By the way Froch did go into specifics about not being a fan of Ali and using the Foreman fight as an example.

lol Floyd should've just stayed hush on this it seems.

anything the guy does, you see these buffoons dissect it in a manner that paints him as selfish or whatever adjective they wanna describe him in today.

      Per Kevin Iole:

Statement by Floyd Mayweather to Yahoo Sports on passing of Muhammad Ali:
"I am truly saddened to hear that we have lost such a great man. He was truly great inside the ring, but moreso outside the ring because he was a great ambassador for human life and peace. He set an unbelievable example for many generation to come. My heart and prayers go out to his family. It is truly a sad day."

I really grow tired of this forum and the idiots on it. Muhammad Ali is a hero and an icon and a great man.

It's a sad day in boxing and for a lot of people. Nice words by Floyd and glad he acknowledged how Ali paved the road for his personal success. They are both professional fighters so it's not surprising that Floyd relates to Ali in a personal level.

            No.

Muhammad Ali is The Greatest Coward and Hypejob of All Time

Just a fact. Just watch his fight in the studio with Joe Frazier. Frazier stands in front of him and Ali tells him to sit down because his nation of islam members are in the studio. When Frazier then is distracted by one of the brothers, Ali stands up and attacks him. Like the coward he was. His own people admit they fought Frazier a 3rd time out of cowardice, Joe was shot by that time, won only 5 of the last 10 fights of his career.

He won cause of hype, he won cause of cheating, he won because he threatened and accused judges. He painted every judge who chose against him in the first Frazier as a racist. Bill Recht once said that his wife was punched and he was attacked as a racist after picking Frazier. What judge would pick against Ali knowing he would pretty much tell Nation of Islam members and blacks to attack them?

He was consistently allowed to hold behind peoples heads, rabbit punch, and push. People say the Klitschko's clinch? Yeah...ok...Ali clinches at least twice as much.

Everyone knew the refs were crooked and allowed Ali to do this trash. The guy was a bum. Lost to Frazier 1, shoulda been dqed in Frazier 2, beat a wached up bum in Frazier 3. Lost all 3 Norton fights. Lost to Shavers and Young. Ali shows how Bum+Hype+Nations of Islam could make idiots think someone was the "greatest."

The 4 year "prime" layoff was a joke. First of all another example of cowardice. Second no one knows what would have happened during that time, that tiem off allowed the brain damage that Cooper laid on him to not be exposed as soon, also made him gain weight which helped his glass chin out.

            The guy was a joke.

So yeah, let's all believe you instead of pretty much every opponent he has ever had inside the ring (with one or two exceptions).

Almost to a man, the guys who fought Ali acknowledge his greatness.

Even in the statements of the few exceptions you can hear the grudging respect.

              He was simply the G.O.A.T.

              The Greatest Of All Times.

And one insignificant, erroneous, spiteful, post by some nobody isn't going to change that.

Let the GOAT Rest In Power.

floyd mayweather does not have a lot of class. guy beat the mother of his children, FFS. you guys seem to think he's jesus .

floyd said 3 sentences about ali, and most of it was about him. "he paved the way for me, so he must have been great."

maybe i'm reading it wrong. i really don't think that i am. it would be par for the course for floyd mayweather to not show a lot of class.
You're proving that you are an idiot right now.

Where did I say Mayweather was a person with a lot of class? Being critical is not some impenetrable shield that stands in the way of people calling you out on behaving like a twat when someone acknowledges the role someone's success had in their life.

Get over the hatred that's in your heart. I can only laugh at you bringing up your attendance to his fight as a defence against that accusation.

You are a pathetic clown using the death of an icon to further your dislike against another.

The guy you're responding to has the be one of the dumbest people I have seen on this forum. At least with the other Floyd haters, such as Golovkin, you get the feeling they're trolling. New England is dead serious with his ridiculous statements

You're living in la-la land. You're smoking some good ****.

Ali was racist who got his jollies off by exciting racial tensions between whites and blacks.

He also talked about blacks who were fighting other blacks to stop fighting each other for one moment to join forces against the white man.

Let me guess, you're going to say Ali's beliefs evolved as times changed, right?

Ali never changed. His Parkinson's just shut him up, and people misinterpreted that as his political views evolving. He was a cracker-hating racist to the grave.

                    You're a delusional clown.

No of course not. Maybe ten years ago when he was still fighting or if he had criticized ali in the past.
