Lmao GGG is gonna beat down this tall Mexican and scare away Degale and Jack.

Not getting up for the Ward fight will forever haunt Golovkin if he never gets his big drama show and so far it looks like there won't be no big drama show whether he stays or move up.

Also losing to Ward could've actually gotten him more adequate fights since he wouldn't look unstoppable.

The Ward fight would of been legacy, but not a big drama show

And if he'd of beat Ward he'd never get another decent fight. He'd of basically cemented that Canelo and all other MW don't fight, with no public pressure. He'd likely not reach the MW record books nor unify. And still wouldn't have been a major ppv event.

If done it eithet when GGG first wanted it or when Ward did, it would have been when Ward's popularity is shiiiiit. The guy doesn't sell out Oakland(handing out free tickets), so GGG/Ward would have been for Hardcores. GGG would have cemented himself in a corner for a payday he'd of gotten anyway. He got $2 million for Wade.

At least now, GGG keeps getting bigger and dominates the 168ers willing to fight and if Ward beats Kovalev, then they could likely have a much bigger event.

GGG V. Ward makes good money if these things happen:

....Ward beats Kov and Stevens. Maybe one more since he fights 2 a year max....

....GGG beats Canelo (it will happen eventual because Canelo is getting crapped on) Suanders, Jacobs, and unifies, beats Zurdo and Degale....

All in same time frame, that fight is then as big of an event that can be made.

That's the kinda of event you fight a guy two classes above you for. Not when that guy just came back from a four year sabbatical and feeds off a steadily supply of tune ups.

I don't see team GGG talking the fight anytime soon. Mad respect if they do, but it's not their style, based on every fight he's ever taken.
I personally think 168 is a ghost town now and is ripe for GGG to roll in, but it's not without risk and they don't put him in risky situations.

Ok Ramirez, enough calling out 160 pounders. Arum is working with Haymon now, start talking about fighters at 168.

Zurdo is a LHW fighting at 168

Why, because he moves. I think his only advantage is size--he's a LHW who can drain down, like Canelo and Chavez can. Zurdo may go 12, look at the size difference. Ramirez VS Vlasov was fought at CW of 172, and Zurdo came in at 183. That's three pounds less than Kov when he last fought.

I bet he is every bit over 180 when fighting SMW.

Zurdo can move, but Murray moves too. Murray went split decision with Abraham, and is on that level. Zurdo beat Abraham. GGG dominated Murray. It's not always a good comparison, but it says that GGG should on paper beat Abraham and Zurdo. Murray was losing bad before he got KO'd. GGG can cut off ring, movement wasn't what made Murray last, it's that he was built like a Mack Truck.

It's why I think Lara doesn't go 12 with GGG, he's too narrow.

Zurdo is bad ally a LHW, but is young enough to drain to 168. He comes in over 180. Look at how big he is next to GGG. If GGG fights him, it should be when the fight generates interest.

I agree with this statement. There's enough work for him at 168.

Look how weak and fragile Ramirez midsection is ....perfect for Triple ggg to land those booming left hand liver shots and the floating rib crunchers ...golovkin would break him down and feed on him ....but it's becoming a norm now where fighters call him out and then go running in another direction ...What's next I wonder
