Secondly, it was you that originally said the offer was $6M, then was $4M. You said that, not me. You said you called Saunders a punk for not accepting$6M, not me. Calm down. I did think Saunders turned down gGG for at 1st $6 million and the. $4 million which would be CRAZY ****** for him to do. So I did call him a punk for it. But now we know it wasn't even have that offered. It was $1.5 million. So him fighting a couple cans and keeping the belt is probably worth more. He seems to think he's some HUGE PPV attraction. Hes not and frankly I don't think he's even really that good. He probably the 5th best MW. And the MW division is TERRIBLE.

If you want to believe Saunders was offered more than DOUBLE what they paid Lemuix then who am I to argue...

I believe the offer of £2.2M was offered, which is twice the amount Lemieux was paid. You, by your own admission, believed an offer of 4x that amount was offered. The biggest difference is that you believe the word of Saunders, who waited about 3 months to dispute the widely reported figure, whereas I choose not to believe Mr Saunders amd his months late rebuttal.

I pretty much agree with everything you say here. I dont think Saunders is worth that kind if payday either, whether it was $3M or $1.5M. I believe K2 made a good faith offer, Id call it a generous one, in an attempt to get a unification bout. And like you said, he could lose that belt next time out and blow any potential payday against GGG. I also dont think, yet my fingers are crossed, that They Will ever fight.

Now Im going to give you a little bit of flak. Youve been calling Loeffler cheap. For the sake of argument, lets say the offer was 'only' $1.5M. (I wish I had ONLY $1.5M...) Now we've both agreed that BJS is certainly not worth the amount he was offered. So we cant call Tom cheap for bidding beyond both our valuations. There is a difference between cheap and 'broke' lol. Cheap is Oscar offering 90-10 to GGG. Broke is Loeffler giving Lemieux $1.5M which was roughly 40%

Reason I said at 155 Canelo wins easy is because Saunders came in at 159.8 against Lee and looked like a zombie. if he came in at 155 he would be a corpse. At 160 I think Saunders has another gear and that's what caught Lee. Also I don't think Alvarez walks through Saunders like he did with Cotto and Khan. Might be the first time we see him fight off the back foot. Would also be interested to see what happens if he (Canelo) gets tagged when he throws that looping right and drops his left hand doing so.

You know, its funny you mention the story of the boy that cried wolf because it really mirrors this situation. Except Canelo is the boy and Golovkin the wolf.

It starts off with the boy claiming there is a wolf, or in this case, claiming he is a wolf. After Cotto fight, he says, Ill fight anyone right now. The townspeople (WBC) believed the boy and came to help by offering a voluntary defense.

The boy cries wolf again, even inviting the wolf into the ring claiming we dont F around (from behind the police). Once again, the townspeople come to help, and give the boy 2 weeks to negotiate with the wolf.
