As it stands, Canelo's reputation is in the toilet and will stay that way unless he fights GGG
He will have to hope that a Floyd or a Pac gives him a payday because virtually anything else will be seen as a cop out and wont sell

I think this is misunderstood. GGG had leverage on him because he was the mandatory. By relinquishing the belt that leverage is gone and Canelo is in the drivers seat in the negotiations AND the belt is still in play because GGG holds it. The weight won't be an issue. Money will be.
