As a fan I would love it. As stated here, too many reasons it won't happen.

Not sure who " The you guys" are, but the same people that want this fight now would be the same people saying Ramirez is green and didn't have a good win under his name before GGG beats him. Again am NOT GGG biggest fan yet but it would in the best interest of Ramirez if he takes another one or two fights first and build the fight. Its not like the fight is going to happen next week anyways, it would still take another 6-12 months before it would happen, so why not build up the fight and actually have a better chance at GGG than just going in to be slaughtered.

is kinda funny how ggg fans dont find this fight appealing which i somewhat understand if ggg had big fights under his belt and was younger. GGG the supposed most avoided has yet to fight a real championship caliber fighter been chasing guys a little smaller then him like cotto and mayweather for awhile and u get a guy like ramirez who is one class up can give him a real challenge and every ggg fan is like no thanks dont wanna see it. this is the kind of thing i think that aggravates me so much with the ggg hard cores its like they love talking about how fighters are avoiding ggg but then when u get real compeition and real fight/fighter willing to fight all the sudden its name 1k reasons why the fight doesnt make sense.
Its like everyone forgets ggg signed on to fight chavez at 168 and yea it was for good money but ggg is the A side for a guy like ramirez and its a ppv fight so he will get paid i just dont get it. GGG is 35 his style is not going to allow him to fight at top level much longer unless he takes PED and if he wants to prove himself and not just be the fighter that could of been at some point hes gonna have to leave his comfort zone and take on some challenges like every other great fighter the last 25 years.
hopefully for ggg sake they can come to terms with canelo cause hes getting to point where if canelo fight falls through if he wants to truly test himself hes gonna have to move upLast edited by Cinci Champ; 05-19-2016, 11:34 AM.

i mean honestly it sounds crazy but at least since hes come to usa stevens is probably his toughest pro fight and that pretty much says it allLast edited by Cinci Champ; 05-19-2016, 11:47 AM.

lil g is too pu$$y to fight a smaller man at 155 , you really think he will fight ZURDO at 168 lmao , no chance , we will see pigs fly before lil g takes any risk. It's been nothing but bum fights and that's how it will stay. As long as his 4 fans allow him to fight bum after bum he will keep doing it. Wooohooo ****ty mandatory after ****ty mandatory.

Zurdo Ramirez should unify his weight division, or get at least three titles and become lineal champion, that would for sure make him a big star worldwide and possibly the A-side vs. GGG, specially if he gets a substantial base of Canelo's angered fans cheering for him as their new hero. THEN he could challenge Genady, provided GGG defeated the best challengers in his current division, Jacobs and Saunders. But I am sure they (GGG team) will demand a catchweight, maybe 164, like they did with Ward, so I think this fight will just not happen ever. In the meantime, both guys should prove themselves in their own divisions, by cleaning them up. Ramirez can move in the ring, has great technique, way longer reach than GGG, and decent power. I think at this moment he is a much better boxer than Canelo. I really don't think GGG has ever faced an opponent like that before, so it would be a great fight even this year, but sadly, the "Mexican star" is Canelo, not Ramirez. That is the status quo and boxers, like any other professional athlete, tend to go for the money more than the legacy which makes sense because after their boxing career, most of them unless they are good verbally and can become commentators, or they hit the jackpot as boxing promoters, have to live off the money they earned as a boxers, for the rest of their lives.Last edited by sterilizer; 05-19-2016, 08:04 PM.
