Lol ya, the last few rounds of that fight were hard to watch. He took a bad beating. Sure he wasn't getting killed in the beginning of the fight but it still wasn't a good performance.

Even after GGG knocked him down, he didn't rush in because he was getting caught with Stevens power and counter shots so he took his time.

Still, Stevens had his moments and was catching and shooting GGG, something we have never seen before.

and his face was overrated when he got KO'd?

I forgot who it was on here, but they were like "if GGG didn't fight Murrey off the ropes, Murrey would've won"

Stevens landed one really good hook. But for the most part, he was just trying survive by fighting in a shell. Also I think GGG carried him for a few rounds so the fans got their money's worth.

It's funny how Golovkin is capable of winning fights with his boxing skills yet he prefers to using this "brawling"'style to get a KO. I think the ultimate test will be when someone is able withstand his onslaught and he has to win a fight by using his skills.
What makes GGG scary is he has the kind of brutal natural power, and he also has the kind of immaculate timing that makes shots really hurt.

Ive never seen someone with power like he has use throw away shots to the extent that he does.

Thats really scary. When you have a guy in front of you that hits as hard as GGG does throwing pitty pat shots at you that are still hard to set up the hard one, and you don't know which one it will be that has the thunder behind it.

The stevens fight. I dont know why people give stevens credit for anything. GGG just humiliated him. Stevens talked himself into a massive hole before the fight and GGG wanted to just put him against the ropes and stand there and make stevens look like a ***** covering up and scared for his life.

some of the GGG haters here say things that seem to come from a ******.

How can you say Stevens was winning that fight until he got caught with a lucky punch?

              Come on...

I think he carried him to humble stevens for all the **** he talked before the fight, then called him a good boy in the post fight interview.

Completely castrated the man, turned him into a woman.

I don't think it was an underrated showing for Stevens. It was very one sided and really only lasted as long as it did because Stevens wouldn't engage and just kept his guard up after that knockdown. The very little spurts of success that Stevens had paled in comparison to what Golovkin was doing to him every round. Golovkin basically outboxed him from range and man handled him on the inside.

I mean he got his ass whooped for 8 rounds and managed not to die. I guess that's underrated.
