I think it's a very close fight. I go with Canelo, but it's close.
As much as I want GGG-Golovkin now, if we had Canelo-Saunders and Golovkin-Jacobs in September and then the winners in November, that would be about perfect. The middleweight division would have a clear king for sure.

Look, I hate Canelo as much as the next guy, but he's only scared of Golovkin and nothing more. The middleweight division is weeks-old garbage level.
Billy Hoe would probably try to act all slick, start getting countered like the untalented typical middleweight that he is, and probably get ko'ed on a body shot later in the fight.
Catchweight or not, mediocre-ass "I lose all my big fights" Miguel Cotto basically toyed with Daniel Geale, who if I need to remind you is like a two-time middleweight champion.
People said Geale was a "boxer-type", a style Cotto typically struggles with, but not here. Cotto looked like Samson in there with Geale. Thats middleweight for you.
Thats your typical middleweight. Size doesnt make you superman. Golovkin has size and skills, which is why he is so far above all the other middleweights.
Cotto and Canelo are maybe not as big but they do have some skills and natural abilty, and that will always beat a slow, bumbling, untalented oaf that most middleweights are any day.

I don't hate BJS's chances vs anyone at 160 tbh. I think he's got arguably the best boxing IQ in the division & is a very crafty guy. I think he's the sleeper in the division.
Although I will add his lack of confidence (or lack of delusion as I tend to say about most fighters) in his own abilities doesn't instill a lot of confidence in my opinion of him doing what I think him capable of at some point. I think the best thing for BJS might to be to move up slower to the better guys & start to gain some confidence in himself. Moving right into a big fight with a GGG or Canelo within the next 12 months probably isn't the best long term move for him.
