That's a nice line. GGG being the favorite doesn't surprise anyone. I think people get confused and think lines are set depending on who will win. If that were the case the Khan-Canelo line would've been a lot wider. Lines are set to make sure the bookies don't lose a lot of money. They knew a lot of money would be coming in on Khan. So they set the line so that if something crazy did happen they wouldn't lose their shirts.
Floyd was -240 against Hatton and -700 against Cotto. Is Hatton a better fighter than Cotto? No. Hatton was also coming up in weight. Against Cotto, Floyd was moving up in weight. Hatton's line was closer because of his fanbase. Those Brits love to bet & Hatton's base was huge. The bookies had to make it close just in case something crazy happened and Floyd lost.

A lot of fans on this site try to make Canelo out to be this boxing, counter-punching wizard and the most skilled fighter in boxing ever since Floyd retired.
Once GGG knocks him out, people will just bring up Ward again and Canelo will go back to feasting on 140/147 guys. I'm sure Bradley, Ruslan, and Matthysse are getting primed as Canelo's next opponents.
Even with Canelo's "experience" he will still come up short against GGG. I actually think GGG has MUCH better boxing skills and Ring IQ than Canelo.
We've seen what GGG is capable of vs LeMule, we have yet to see anything close to that level from Canelo. He could probably school Canelo using mostly just his jab. How many fights has this man been in (am & pro)? Still never even been knocked down.
Only advantage Canelo has is Youth, which allows him to drain so much.. but he can't keep it up forever and is likely already struggling.. but who knows? maybe cutting the 155 BS would actually benefit him at this point.

Golovkin will make him pay for that above all else.
