but many thought he would get beaten from pillar to post like Lopez

He took very little punishment, didnt have a mark on his face the next day.

Canelo landed 7 hooks and 25 bodyshots, and 1 right over 6 rounds.

Lopez and Cotto took more of a beating in 6 rounds than Khan did as far as punches landing flush.

As a result, it is probably why he can carry on fighting.

If that was Khan under Roach, he would have been badly beaten up and then stopped within 3 rounds.

Honestly I respect the hell out of khan, but it's been like 3 days since the KO and he's already back to chirping his head off again. It would have been better if canelo hit him in the throat so he lost his voice for a while.

Khan is glass jawed and must as always be carefully matched Garcia no matter how limited would be favourite to do the job again.The above post suggests Bradley which would be a good fight and he's not heavy handed.

After Five I had it 2/3 Khans way but could easily have been 3/2 Canelo but in the sixth Canelo's patience and boxing payed off he was getting closer and was wining the round and ****. I actually thought the task dawned on Khan then and had Canelo not knocked him unconscious it would have been a dreadful pasting for the next two or three.

Yea, getting separated from consciousness and having your head dribble on the floor because you fell like an oak tree is no biggie. Staying awake is the real killer. That KO instilled a lot of wisdom in this fellow.

Surely there has never been a fighter more pleased to be knocked out cold than king khan. Yes he is earning dollars but what about self respect amir? His legacy is lying in the gutter in absolute tatters.
