GGG would have been better served with a willing abel sanchez to drop 5lbs and get cotto in there and canelo.

people had to bend the knee to SRL, to ODLH, paq, floyd, cotto, hatton and now canelo. it's an advantage you at times have to overcome, it's the truth in boxing. one loss puts you at a severe disadvantage in your potential to make money.
Oh ok yeah makes sense. Beeotch moves but Floyd went up to 154 for Oscar and khan going up for Can'tNelo so yeah you are right there man

If 5'9 Canelo beats 5'10 GGG at 155 will people respect that or just bring up how GGG was drained???

it's how the game is played and i dunno why we're all acting brand new here.

these warriors have learned through the mistakes of their predecessors to get that paper. for every canelo there are 1000 boxers who've given everything in the ring and can't put food on the table for their family at 40 years old.

i'm a huge cotto fan, you guys know, but when he went down for pac i understood that there was an inherent but albeit small risk (he came in at 146 for his previous fight) but he signed a contract and sacrificed for the opportunity for a paq match. people bemoan about the weight in that fight but that's BS, he had a nutritionist on deck and that still didn't save him from that beating he took.

no amount of name calling is going to sway a fighter from leveraging his advantages at the negotiation table, at least i hope not.

canelo a single dad with a daughter, *** all that other jazz.

it comes down to sacrifice, how bad GGG want it?

He's not frustrated, he's scared to fight him, dummy

Only problem is divanelo wont fight him. Asking for a ridiculous catchweight neither fighter needs lmao. If canelo was so big and brave he would have kept his word and fought GGG after he said this below.

Not ready after all, only ready to pick on welterweights.

Thanks, I dont think they can justify GGG being called a coward

floyd a coward? ok. canelo a coward? ok. cotto a coward? ok.

they dictated terms like smart men in their position would do.

GGG'll learn soon. he keep playing around and his biggest fight'll be against degale.
Yes, but how does that make gggg a coward like this thread suggests? Nelo still resembles one more than ggg

These guys think they can call the shots, but GGG still isn't a coward. Just because he thinks he was taken advantage of by Floyd, don't mean he has to go OTT in getting GGG to make the same mistakes as him. Nelo taught GGG that fighting at cw is wrong

you get no argument from me. none of them are cowards, some, i.e., canelo has the negotiating power over GGG and if he doesn't fall in line he could lose out on a monster payday. the mf'er is acting simple IMO.

GGG has been exposed by fighters now for his all about the money mentality when the guy has done ***** to deserve it to date.

Fighters like Floyd and Manny paid there dues coming up and so has Canelo, GGG is smoking if he thinks he can call shots.

With GGGs mentality he'll end up wasting his prime and retiring never fighting a single elite fighter .
lol Fighting bums is pretty much the opposite of being "only about the money." You fail.

And I'll state this one time and one time only - Canelo is the middleweight champion and middleweight begins at 160, therefore he should have to defend the title at 160. It's as simple as that.
