Andre Ward wanted tune ups, not a fight with GGG.
Maybe you should follow the sport and stop with all your bull****ting

That's exactly what Jotto did to GGG. Thanks for proving that GGG is a feared man.

Probably, Gonzalez was taller in the ring than Pascal, and Shabranskyy was taller than Gonzalez in the ring too. He was also a few inches taller than Hopkins.

He is too green, but his best win - Gonzalez - is arguably better than Barrera's was. Murat's a tough veteran but really not very good. Also Slava's a closer match stylistically to Kovalev than most fighters out there - though I'll admit, not particularly close. Finally, of course, it seems likely that ROC / HBO are working under fairly tight budgetary restrains and it's unlikely they're gonna get a much bigger name - and really, who else is there?

Take out the Haymon guys and you're left with Braehmer, Tommy Gun and Pascal in Boxrecs top 10 - none of which are likely; Braehner ain't leaving the Fatherland, Pascal would cost way too much, Oosthuizen ... maybe... but would you really want to see that fight? The Kid's 6'4" of lanky averageness with a protected record.

Cleverly might be coaxed out - but again would want paying for it. Actually in Chilemba Kovalev picked up probably the best available LHW out there.

I said the IBF belt isn't worth keeping and no other MW's want the belt because they'll have to fight mado's like Wade and it's a beginners belt. Great for young fighters like Joshua but not worth anything for GGG because of his age and resume. If you think I'm wrong then go take a look at the IBF rankings and tell me which one of those fighters you want to see him fight? He has the WBA. He's guaranteed a shot at the WBC or he's guaranteed the belt if he doesn't get his shot. Considering his age/resume/ and circumstances I don't see the point of him holding onto that belt. It brings him nothing but horrible mando's. But you look at it from a promoters POV. He makes good money for K2 fighting those guys and you don't have to pay them much.

As far as Ward and Shabranskyy, hell no he's not in Ward's class. Very few are. But he's a hell of a lot better than Wade. Barrera is a hell of a lot better than Wade. And Ward has a HOF resume and a fight scheduled with the #1 p4p fighter imo. What does GGG have? What did fighting Wade accomplish?
The very second GGG drops IBF belt, Canelo would go after IBF ranked fighters. Having another belt will give him much needed breathing space. He would ask WBC for exemption, because he is fighting mandatory for his other belt, and this will give him legitimate reason to avoid GGG.

Canelo must really be a bad MF if he put so much fear into TBE that although TBE fought Oscar and Cotto at 154, TBE would only go to 152 for Canelo.

Nice fight if it happens, I've been calling for this one since before the Barrera fight. Props to Shabranskyy for stepping up too if it happens.

Canelo isn't going after the IBF belt. Canelo is a franchise now. He's about selling out arenas and PPV. He's not about to be held to mandatory obligations fighting the likes of Ryota Murata, Sergiy Derevyanchenko and Hassan N'Dam. He's bigger than belts. The only person with a trinket fascination is GGG because it allows him to fight that level of competition while waiting on a big name fight. He won't go out and get a big name fight on his own. I'll always go back to the Willie Monroe Jr fight because that right there showed me how K2 and GGG are using unification as an excuse. Monroe Jr wasn't a mandatory. They made that fight a little over two weeks after GGG's last fight. That showed me they weren't even trying to make a fight with a big name.

Im told that the Ward-Shabranskyy fight has gone to Bolivian. Not enough money to satisfy Shabranskyy at the end #boxing
