    KO right?

    At least a KD

Cotto finishes his combo. lmao i was like lmao.

can't even make this up. Can you imagine if GGG gets to load up on an uppercut on old man cotto? he would be orbiting earth right now.
I remember this exchange from the fight, no pics even needed (at work firewall) ...perfect example of Canelo's overrated punching power.

Just think Cotto got beat up and stopped by Pacman....

i'll go over a couple of reasons why you can't really counter GGG. nor would the shoulder roll, any rhythm based defensive maneuver work against GGG.

GGG has a probing offense. as Gabe Rosado and Max Kellerman said... touch touch BOOM. Gabe said he felt him just tensing up as GGG touches him because he doesn't know which punch is going to be the bomb. literally froze him.

Basically if you think Canelo or whoever will counter a jab or whatever by GGG, you have to basically run the risk of it being a probe and get blown out.

Same with a rhythm based philly shell or whatever, you weave on a probe right into a bomb.

just wanted to share some thoughts on this.

GGG has the highest compliment in the sport being the most ducked fighter in MW history. basically fighters and trainers alike don't want to risk fighting him even tho GGG is the draw. think about it. you can skip a fighter like Lara because he brings nothing to the table. but Kid and Danny and BJS skipping GGG is completely out of fear because GGG is the draw.
oh please. Rosado isn't the best fighter around and he moved up from 154 lbs where he didn't have power like that.

When he did face someone with power, lemule (who couldn't even beat alcine btw) he promised fireworks etc... what did he do... back up, that way the power puncher, whos very limited, wont hurt him.

They know who they are fighting and that most of the guys they "drag" rounds are dudes that don't have any pop whatsoever.

Man I have been saying this for the past couple years, the way you beat GGG is fighting in front of him center ring. IE. Chavez vs Whittaker & guess who holds the style to do that? Andre Ward, which is why team GGG found that fight to risky because although Ward would bring a recognition reward he doesnt necessarily bring the monetary reward in risk... GGG's range and switch step will make it hard for any laterally moving fighter because he is so good at keeping you at the end of his punch. Fighters fist mistake when fighting him is moving right away, again look at Whittaker vs Chavez, Whittaker threw more punches than he normally did and transitioned so smooth back and forth from defense to offense.

Tyson is really GGG's frame. So he was fighting a guy that dwarfed him by 5 inches. 240 lbs. leaning on him the whole fight.

he walked Tyson down and KOed him.

Who at MW and SMW can take the assault GGG dishes out? Murray went 11 rounds. but by round 11 he was basically a corpse from all that bodywork.
Tyson KOed many other big fighters, Douglas didn't care. That was the difference.

I agree, you have to have power to make GGG respect you. Also you have to be able to fight center ring which is why his team avoided Ward like the plague. Ward isnt a KO artist but he has the power to keep you modest and skill to stand in front of you and make you miss. None of the guys that TS mentioned have/had that.

                      ggg didn't duck ward.

                      Loeffler made an offer.

                      164 lbs. 50/50 split.

                      ward walked away. no counter-offer.

this is when GGG is the draw btw. very fair.
