Comments Thread For: Chilemba Vows To Not Leave Fate in Judges' Hands Versus Kovalev

While the fighting ability of Isaac Chilemba has never been in doubt, his style and lack of a set fan base will always leave the Malawi-born boxer as the B-side of any given major promotion.

If the Tony Bellews of the world can beat you unanimously, you can bet KOvalev won't need the judges either.

Hard to leave it in the judges' hands when you are unconscious I guess...

this is just a case of time before Kov gets the stoppage - what Chilemba is saying makes no sense based on what we have seen so far - he plans to so totally outclass and befuddle Kov over 12 rounds that even a biased judge will be left with no choice but to give it to him.
Now if it was Ward talking like this it would make some sense. Chilemba not so much if at all.

This cat can't KO some of the regular guys he fought, let alone top guys, let alone Kovalev. Good luck with that dumbass plan.

Ha! Just what I was thinking. Technically though, he did say he wasn't leaving it to the judges.

Oh he won't have to worry about it being left in the judges hands. Kovalev will make sure of that

Even if he did that, he wouldn't win on the cards. Best he can hope for is to be a victim of judge's robbery which in this case would boost his profile, worst case scenario is being stopped.

Awkward boxer Chilemba, I've never seen him clearly beaten.
