He is in his prime now? During a run that has sketchy wins against Trout and Lara, Loss to Floyd, Good win against Angulo and win against Cotto? This is the best that Canelo can be?

That is laughable beyond belief. Since when has Physical peak been the definition for someones prime? He can be at his physical peak, but his skills can still be raw.

"He's in his prime because even though his footwork is sketchy, his accuracy is way off, his defense is still hit or miss but but ignore all that because of his physical stature."

    Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.
    /sigh

Being in your prime does'nt mean you can't improve. It simply means you've hit the point where your abilities have a ceiling that you're not going to be able to surpass. It does'nt mean you have hit that ceiling.

If he has improved beyond his prime, how can that still be classified than his prime if he better than what he was?

How can you be better than your prime, but not be in your prime?

Canelo's best is yet to come. He was a good young fighter when he fought Floyd. He'll be a good youmg fighter when he sends Khan into a slumber. Canelo will be great fighter by the time he's 28, 29 and accepts his place in the Middleweight and Super Middleweight divisions.

Easily. A 5'10", 300 lb man can be in his physical prime, but by your logic he would be incapable of getting himself in to peak physical condition. /facepalm

Oh my goodness. Did you not see my post where I referenced GGG and his age and physical peak?
            I'll assume you didn't.

You guys are the ones that have stated that physical peak is what you are referring to, I have never said that.

I said, skills and physical prowess but Skills > Physical prowess.

            Perfect example: LeBron James.

Then why did Floyd not just fight him then?
If someone ain't on your level or a threat to you at all surely you fight the guy who will make a big PPV fight.

Big ppv fight based on what exactly man?? ya'll hype Khan up as such a huge draw when nothing backs that up at all. Khan had done nothing to separate himself from the pack to get a Mayweather fight...But that is a dead horse, Floyd is retired and Khan has to set his own legacy
