Bob has been saying Crawford's next fight will be PPV before they even announced an opponent. Before they even discussed how much he'll get paid. This has nothing to do with Crawford's purse. I remember two weeks ago Bob said Crawford was asking for too much money to fight Postol & everybody jumped on Crawford. But it's a good thing Crawford has a good team behind him and BMac & Reeder jumped on social media quick to defend Crawford & the fight got made.

Every single time Bob can't make a fight he claims the fighter is asking for too much money. That's Top Rank's trick to turn people against there fighter. It just happened with Walters. Walters has no social media presence or anybody on his team speaking up for him. So now he's labeled.

The perfect example of Bob doing this ua Mayweather & DeLaHoya. Bob said Mayweather was crazy asking for $20 mil to fight Oscar. He said he'd never make that. A year later he got paid $20 mil to fight Oscar. So how was he able to do that when Bob said it was impossible and Floyd was crazy for asking for that much money? His stock rose that much after beating Baldomir?

      It's a good fight mate.
And at 45 bucks it's priced pretty reasonably if you ask me.
I spend more than that watching the NBA playoffs at the bar with friends. You probably do the same.

FNF? That's harsh. It would be a great HBO after dark fight but yeah a PPV will obviously bomb. Outside of Omaha (and the huge boxing demographic that city has...) TC don't really have a fanbase, let alone Postol. I think they both averaged just under 1 million viewers in their last fights. There's literally no logic behind this being a PPV fight but I will still buy this before Can'tnelo vs Khan

I guess they're trying to beat 97k in terms of doing horribly

HBO is blowing their budget on lil g's "BIG BUM SHOWS" they can't fund the real fights we want to see like this one. I predict there will be a mass exodus of top boxers from HBO in the next year and a half.

You guys call for a fight, then when the fight is made a put on PPV you complain.

Crawford/Postol is a terrific fight on regular HBO World Championship boxing. But it's a terrible PPV fight. Only the most hardcore of hardcore boxing fans will charge $70 to their bill for this one.

I fancy Crawford. Not big on Postol.

I think they will try and see what they are capable of with Crawford.
