You rather see GGG fight years more of wade type opponents more power to you. Canelo made weight easy against cotto and weighted only 161 30 days out from his next fight. There are many 154lb fighters who weight way more then that 30 days out. 6 pounds to lose over 30 days is easy for any professional fighter. The way he looked in the cotto weigh in and based on his 30 day weight no doubt if it were a 154 title fight he could of sweat that 1 pound off to make weight. Canelo has tons of options for big money fights where he is at. Whether it's for canelo or someone at 168 GGG will have to move long before canelo does. At some point idiot fans of his will realize no matter how much you talk and lie about fighters not wanting to fight him that still doesn't justify 34 year old with a paper thin resume fighting guys like wade time after time lol he has options he just getting bad advice from his camp who think he's some big superstar and can call shots against REAL superstars.

Floyd held belts at 154 ones he won at 152 and defended at 147 for 2 years. And didn't lose any money or fans over it. Manny, cotto, ect have won belts at catch weight have vacated belts and lost zero fans are still huge draws and very rich men. You want to fight any of these guys it's on their terms and not because any belt org says so. Canelo like these guys are all bigger then any belt. If all GGG wants is the belt tell him to stop giving step asides and stand his ground and trust canelo will throw the belt in the trash and not bat an eye and still be the biggest draw in boxing.

It's bigger than the piece of **** WBC belt. Canelo represents the crossover appeal & payday GGG desperately needs. 3-4 pounds isn't much to ask for such a career advancement. Tons of great fighters have done it before.

Canelo without the belt can fight Pacquiao.. Still make 20-30 Mil.

GGG with the WBC, IBF and WBA still makes 1.5-2 Mil a fight.

I just explained why Canelo is so much worse. He's got a fraction of their accomplishments, no size disadvantage, carries the lineal belt Mw yet wants a CW lower than any of those midgets would attempt many divisions above their first belt. Don't bring up those guys to defend this chump
