Abel Sanchez insists GGG can make 154 for Floyd, but wont for Canelo and explains why

Its obvious, team GGG like everyone else plays the risk-reward ratio like majority of teams.
Some fighters are worth the risk and others are not
that nobody will fight him excuse is a little worn out considering they havent taken every fight offered to them and some fights just fall through
its about $$$ not legacy. If it was about legacy his team would accept the fight at 155, kick Canelito's butt and never have to make anything below 160 again.

It's just common sense. Canelo has to fight him at 160 or lose his title to GGG so why on earth would GGG agree to go any lower than 160 when he doesn't have to???? The WBC belt Canelo has is what is important to GGG. He wants it and he will be glad to fight for it and equally glad to get it by default. Once GGG has that belt a fight with Canelo is only desirable to GGG if he likes the terms and the money he gets. He no longer needs the Canelo fight. Mayweather is a completely different situation. Mayweather has no obligation or reason to fight GGG at any weight. GGG has to agree to drop to 154 to have even a remote chance of getting a fight with Mayweather. Mayweather refused to go above 152 to fight Canelo so it's very unlikely he would ever agree to fight GGG at 154 but that is as low as GGG can go. Not only would a fight with Mayweather make GGG lots of money but a win over Mayweather would be a very big deal for his career and his legacy.

Canelo is fighting at middleweight, is the middleweight champion and has a mandatory due in Golovkin. It's just basic common sense. At worst, make it at 158 pounds. Absolutely no need for a mandatory to have to go to down to 155 it's absolutely absurd and you know it.

It's very simple. Is anyone a fan of "caneloweight"? No, but in boxing the A-Side always dictates terms. Floyd went from 147 to 154 for his money fight. If he didn't, maybe he never becomes "Money Mayweather". To get the belt AND put the biggest name on your resume, GGG is going to have to bend over to Canelo. Plain and simple. Then maybe he becomes the biggest name and PPV sell in boxing.
