Stevenson would knock Kovalev out cold

Stevenson would box very cautious on the back foot for 4-5 rounds, as Kovalev boxes his way forward, Stevenson feels the power and doesn't want to stand and trade, he gets minorly hurt early on and Kovalev grows in confidence and gets careless. Stevenson then leads Kovalev onto a massive overhand left and cleans him out. Kovalev demands a rematch but Stevenson refuses.

Stevenson has a great left hand but not much else. Kovalev wouldn't fall into Hopkins' traps who is a hundred times craftier than Stevenson. Kovalev comes forward but he doesn't run into shots. He cleans Stevenson's clock within six.

I believe it. Stevenson just has to land one shot. While Kov has to rely on throwing a bunch of punches

Kovalev would crush Stivenson like you take candy from a baby.
He is stronger metally and physically.

I don't think Stevenson would fight Kovalev even if Kovalev agreed to fight on Stevenson's terms. Stevenson had a chance to fight both Hopkins and Pascal before Kovalev. Beating these two would have solidified his standing as the best at 175, but Stevenson refused to make either fight.

Nope, Kovalev beats even a prime Stevenson, let alone the 38yr old version.

                stevenson isn't a top lhw

beating a washed up chad dawson makes you an elite lhw? then tommy karpency is elite too

he had offers to fight the top 3 guys in the division and walked out on all of them so speculate all you want

if only Stevenson felt that way... lets just say this fight would have been made by now.
