But all this makes no sense as you are there.

The US is able to globally market. Anthony Joshua has the potential to be bigger than just a UK star. The US can globally market him to every walk of life.

The WWE for example. These dudes roll around play fighting each other in their underwear..... But they sell out major arenas all over the damn world.

A huge world superstar like that can only help our sport of boxing as a whole.

Do you think the public in the USA would get behind a British fighter and make him a superstar?

I know Lewis was pretty big everywhere, but it seemed he got more love after he retired.

The US would eat AJ up (in a good way).

All the guys would like him because of his heavy hitting style, and all the females would love him for his looks. He'd be huge over here. Showtime was promoting AJ more than Charles Martin leading up to the fight even.

Heavyweight Boxing was very different when Lewis ruled the HW division. It's heartland was the U.S all the top guys were either US residents or based there. Is that true now? Joshuas UK fight PPV generates a lot of money and large passionate crowds move it to 3am for the U.S. And you lose that.. I'd say he'll fight in Vegas but only against US fighters like Wilder anything else he'll be at Wembley hopefully.

Fair enough, that will be interesting to see how it pans out.

He doesn't seem to have a lot of charisma or personality outside of the ring but he has that nice humble angle to sell, which people like. Plus he has a bit of a back story of bad guy turned good.

Then again, he still has to prove he's a top fighter in the ring first.
