I have to say Pac was tactical, then Castillo then Maidana for his brutality. And honorable mention Delahoya was more like a draw.

Wasn't there 5 well known boxing pundits who recently rescored the Castillo vs Mayweather Jr. I fight, and all five had Castillo pulling out the win, although a very close one?

Anyways, Castillo vs Mayweather Jr. I was a close loss by Mayweather. I had Castillo winning by like a round or so. Of course, it wasn't Floyd at his best, but a loss should still be counted as a loss. Unfortunately, many of his fanbase deny it and are biased as **** when it comes to scoring his fights.

If all 5 had Castillo edging it that just means they felt Castillo edged it.

That doesn't change the fact it's an either way fight.

Obviously it was extremely close so people scoring it for Castillo doesn't mean anything.

In both rematches, neither fought at the pace they did in the first fight..

Just like manny, canelo, ghost, etc they got caught up trying to be measured and composed vs floyd instead of going guns blazing.. If Maidana could have thrown 75-100 punches a round, he would have had a great chance to beat floyd, throwing 50 or less punches a round and you are getting UD by floyd all day long

It did seem like Floyd stepped on the gas when Weeks wouldn't break them and Maidana just kept swinging away. Crucial adjustments!

castillo did beat mayweather. that was a really bad decision.

as far as guys who came close but didn't pull it off, i think maidana would have been given the decision if those were 2 unknown friday night fights boxers. i had it draw-ish. first fight obviously.

The Oscar fight was filled with so much FM Jr gems that i get upset that Floyd didn't bring up power in that fight because he hit Oscar with a few punches that really showed why he was a great boxer. That left uppercut in the 11th round at 2:45 where he looked like he wanted to keel over was amazing. Maidana fought rough and dirty, the other matches aren't worth bringing up but Castillo to me? Lost the first five rounds by really not doing much. Then if i remember he lost round 7 and or 9....and it was close, but clearly i felt Floyd won

But Castillo gets the vote.
