anyone else think this will be wards last fight?
where does ward go after losing to kovalev? The supposed 'fans' will jump off the ward bandwagon like **** from a sinking ship once he loses his '0'. Even with his '0' hes pretty damn unpopular, no casual sports fans wants to see his fights. Ward cant make 168 either so hes stuck at 175 and cant blame weight. WIth people talking about him like a hall of famer already, its going to be pretty tough for ward if he takes a pasting off kovalev, will be a humbling experience, one im not sure he can handle. I get the impression that ward considers himself boxing royalty, i cant see him trying to work his way up, his ego wont be able to handle it.
THe hunch is here that this will be the last time ward is seen in the ring, hes not going to be an attractive proposition to promoters once the 0 goes. Give me all the abuse you want but dont be shocked if this ends up happening...

Dude you need to be at church praying Ward doesn't win cause if he does you are not going to be able to talk about anything without someone ridiculing you over your opinions on this fight. Dial it back a bit because you are at risk of embarrassment come Sunday. I get that you think Ward is a headbutting bum but the reality is this is a fight he can absolutely win in convincing fashion.

I know you are trying to get people worked up, but so what if it is? Win or lose. So What?
He would be wealthy, healthy, and had a great career.
Look where he came from, look at the adversity he has had to face in his life. He wins no matter what, him and Kovalev both do.

Apparently, there's a rematch clause in place if Ward wins . If Kovalev wins -- think he will btw, on points -- it's not beyond the pale for there also to be a rematch. [It doesn't seem like Stevenson will be able to "come out to play" anytime soon, no matter who wins...]
You are underestimating Ward if you think a loss, even by brutal 1st rd KO, would retire him. Hell, it might even win him some fans if he lost and kept going. It's not like his fanbase can get any smaller!
