He hasn't turned anything down, he's trying to get a big one at 147 before deciding.

In his IFL Interview Hearn clearly said him and Brook would take the Cotto fight and told HBO that. But then Hearn was adamant that Cotto wouldn't want to fight Kell Brook.

Hearn sounded confident of a big fight at 147; if he delivers a Bradley, Garcia, Thurman/Porter then that's better. He said if they can't get one of those fights at 147, they will then talk 154 - what's the problem there?

Brook clearing guys out at 147 before moving up is the best possible path.

        It still sounds that way.

If they can get the big fight at 147 then that's their priority, if not then 154.

Brook vs Cotto would be great. Shame that we wont see this one either.

But wouldn't mind the Bradley fight...

154 seems to be fair, no? I mean Kelly did say he would fight gg at 157.

Surprised an old probably just one fight left Cotto isn't getting more interest by more up & coming guys. Seems like he's ripe for the taking & honestly win or lose you tend to build up your own name by fighting a frequent PPV caliber guy so its pretty much all upside to fight him right now.

wtf.....turned down Cotto? a very beatable older fighter witha huge name?....

I guess they think 154 is too high risk low reward even if they win, because then they would have to fight the Laras, Andrades and Charlos....some of those guys look pretty big.

I would have to actually see Hearn say this and not a tweet from a guy I've never heard of. Hearn stated in at least 10 interviews that he accepted the fight with HBO - at least in terms of interest.

He never heard back about the fight at all to discuss money or anything else.

LOL at trying to get people to travel for Brook. He is a Champion making less than a lot of guys they want to Travel to Sheffield, it is NOT HAPPENING HEARN!
