Dude please KO that coward. Please. Even though you are a cherry picked bum, it would be sweet if you would KO him unconscious. I'll end up wasted if I see that.

This is a fight I wanted to see and I'm glad Ward took it. I think it's gonna be competitive but I'm not sure whats gonna happen. Ward is facing a good LHW at the actual weight and Barrera knows the opportunity in front on him. This is gonna be good.

Barrera, if Ward tries to clinch you up, headbutt his ass early on to let him know that you aren't that guy. When he tries to measure you out with a jab, you know that the straight right and duck/roll is coming so stifle him with your own jab and a slip to the right, then follow up with your own straight right and shove him for good measure. Rough this dude up and break him down in every aspect, mentally and physically.

Barrera is interesting here mainly because we don't have any idea what he's made of or capable of, since we've only seen him in the ring with average at best opponents. Ward is probably too much of a step up at once though regardless.

The coward that called out your boy, but could get the fight unless it was at 164, after he said he'd fight anyone from 54-68? Was willing to fight Chavez at 168 though. Face it, golovkin is a hype job just waiting to get exposed. Ward has proven himself against top opposition. Who's golovkin fought of real note? Give me a single one. Golovkin and his manager would be wise to shut their mouth so they d one get called on anymore contradictions. Golovkin ever fights Ward and he loses. Ggg needs to just be canelos *****, fight him at 155 and then fight a top guy and hope he isn't exposed (assuming he could even beat Canelo at 155).

People like you jump all over hype trains and then disappear as soon as your guy loses, only to come back under yet another name. Fact: golovkin is only decent, but he is no world beater.

I haven't watched a lot of Barrera and from what I did see he didn't really amaze me.

But this fight will be interesting just to see Ward in the ring with a live opponent for the first time in forever.

Paul Smith is/was an OK fighter but we all saw the shape he showed up in for that fight... Might as well've been walked to the ring holding a budweiser in his morning robe.
