I really don't understand any of the moves GGG and his team make. They talk outta both sides of their asses so much its hard to keep up. When it comes to fighting a guy like Ward, it doesndoesn't make financial sense. Yet Canelo is the biggest money fight available to him, and they're playing hardball about the weight. Is it about money, or is about legacy? Becaue if its about legacy, beating Ward does far more than beating Canelo. So it seems like that's the fight he would be chasing. Hell, Lara at least equals Canelo in terms of legacy, yet tgey won't entertain fighting him. What is GGG gonna do if and when Canelo vacates? Is he gonna sit around fighting the Wades of the world hoping Saunders will fight him for another meaningless belt? Not sure what these guys are doing. But whatever it is, its wasting a lotta years that this cat likely doesn't have.

But hes worried about how much they make.
but yes i understand boxing is a business and believe it or not ggg is interested in growing...if not he's just stuck in a boring 160 division...

I honestly believe that GGG can whoop canelo at 155! I mean just agree to the divas weight and have him sign a 10lbs re-hydration clause for fight night that way canelos has no excuse to duck anymore! call me crazy but I just don't see canelo beating GGG here or on mars!!! JUST FIGHT!!!

Interesting. A poster recently posted a translated interview with Golovkin, where he said all of this CW talk is BS, because there are rules. How can a champ dictate a CW for his mandatory challenger in any particular weight class? Guess we'll see who's really in charge: Canelo, or the WBC?
