I reckon DeGale should stay at 168 for as long as he can and pick up some more belts. He has the ability to do so. At 175, those big guys are gonna eat him up, especially in the middle rounds when DeGale goes into his shell and takes punches.

Stevenson, Kovalev and possibly Beterbiev would hurt him badly.

Edit: The AA fight is not only open to be made but very winnable, after that, he could set himself up for yet another unification, this time with Jack and solidify his place as not only the best smw but also the best commodity in the division.

That would only make his position at 175 more favourable, plus create a better environment for him as by then, the hope is that Kov/Ward/Stevenson would have sorted themselves out.

      But the TS is ******ed.
Hearn clarified that a while ago. He has an exclusive deal with Sky and gets a piece of every PPV in the UK involving a fighter from the UK, in fact they have to go through Eddie to an extent.

This most likely makes people reluctant to put on shows there.

He clearly insulted Eddie, but then later praised him because Kugan picked up on the Degales frustration with Hearn.

Degale said their relationship could be better, it all boils down to money.

and you can also hear Chunky puts Haymon before Eddie, it's like he considers Al as his family "my team" and Hearn as an associate.

Also ive watched previous interviews with Hearn and he was clearly not ecstatic about Degale working with Haymon

I told you there was some tension between Degale and Hearn

Hearn says he's not willing to give 120% effort to Degales career because Degale is with Haymon

He says he only gives 120% to fighters who are solely with him, i.e Jousha, Brook etc...

He's not happy about Degale being with Haymon, i don't think this relationship between Hearn and Degale will last long.

Degale doesnt want to be a protected fighter and waste his career fighting bums for pennies

Hearn implies Degale is looking at the short term picture, and not the bigger picture. In other words he rather Degale turn down the big money international fights and take a paycut so that he can fight in the UK

Yeah HEARN was kind of acting like a f@ggot in his last interview regarding Degeale.

I remember in a previous interview he said he wanted to make his fighters the most $, now it's only if he gets 100%control.

Whatever If/When Degeale beats Medina it's going to a unification with Jack if he wins in the UK which I assume would be a huge fight there.

Maybe you don't see any patterns but well, as they say, the writing is on the wall.
