Damn. This was a blow to the undercard. My guess is that Golden Boy and Lucas don't want to rush his return yet. I wouldn't be surprised if Lucas returns a month later as the co main event on the Vargas vs Salido card.

Golden Boy is going to have to work hard to get Ortiz vs his mandatory on the undercard and get creative with the other 2 fights.

Just throwing it out there how about
Rosado vs Johnson
Herrera vs Gomez
De La Hoya vs Rios or Ramirez

Lucas is likely nearing the end of his career as a top fighter. He could be turned irrelevant really quickly. There's a slim chance that he's going to be making big waves from here on out. He hasn't looked as impressive as he used to for quite awhile now.

ortiz just fought and toreano johnson is out with an injury those two will not be on the undercard.replace johnson with kirkland and that's a respectable undercard.
