Some people are really obsessed with seeing this man lose that(0)but damn i think fighting the best and hardest punching olimpic middleweight with 23 straight k.o.s is just too much im not a floyd fan at all but this he faught a 170 lb canelo argument is ridiculous let him stay retired boxing has to move on and golovkin should stop saying he will go down to 154 to fight him because they will insist on him fighting canelo at 155lbs.

People made the same exact comparisons with Maidana and Pacquiao. Look what Maidana did, imagine what Pacquiao will do. Golovkin is not a wild swinger, who's going to rough anyone up, or throw punches wildly from different angles, and on top of the head, shove, get in your chest. I think people look too much in to individual performances, so much that they overlook the differing styles of the opponents they are comparing. Maidana and Golovkin fight nothing alike.

Small 150lb Zab Judah unofficially knocking down Mayweather meant absolutely nothing going forward in Floyd's career. He never grazed the canvas ever again in his career, despite fighting much bigger men than Zab Judah afterwards. The reason for that was, that styles make fights. Golovkin would likely beat Mayweather on size, but it will not look anything like Mayweather vs Maidana.

Golovkin is technically better than Pacquiao too, who looked one dimensional with Floyd, injured or not. And he has the size advantage, it would be a totally different fight I agree.

I would have not been surprised if May-GGG ended up very similar to Hopkins vs Kovalev.

I'm thinking it's going to be more like Ward vs. Kovalev.

Hopefully that's going to be and all-time great fight! Two P4P top #5 guys in their prime.

washed up welterweight narrowly outboxes washed up junior welterweight

time for him to come out of retirement to commit suicide vs prime middleweight

Id love to see Floyd v GGG at 160 and not to see Floyd get beat but just to see what would happen. To see if Floyd could last 12 rounds. That would be a great achieveent and in a way floyd showing a masterclass in defense at the highest level. It would be a good education for youngsters coming up.
If Floyd lasted 12 rounds he still wouldnt be TBE, but he would move up a few notches in losing. Think about that. Floyd should be able to last. BH could against Kovalev and its a pick em about whos the most dangerous out of GGG and Kovalev.

Plus there are enough fantasy fights. Whilst this one can get made id prefer it not be fantasy.

If Mayweather comes back after a 16 to 24 month layoff against a younger, hungrier, stronger and larger opponent in GGG, he would probably decline significantly physically, to the point of him getting his ass whipped due to a loss of reflexes, power and balance since he'll be pushing 40 years of age. Just look what happened to Wladimir Klitschko. He could no longer use his hand to eye coordination to throw any punches against Tyson Fury due to his diminishing ring skills and advanced age.
