If they cant make a deal it goes to purse bid, it happens all the time, why is it a big deal this time? The people who won can stage the fight as they please and both sides had equal opportunity to get the rights to the fight so what's the issue?

Povetkin is not my favorite either, not sure why you think that and I don't care one way or the other if somebody is with Haymon, Top Rank, Golden Boy or anybody else but why is Povetkin a diva? Because his side won the rights to the fight and they want it in Russia? That doesn't make any sense to me.

How big is this fight in USA from a casual fan point of view?

Have you not been following this story at all?

And did you slaughter Stevenson and call him a diva for refusing to negotiate with Duva and demanding an immediate purse bid?
stevenson kov= DUVA/haymon...AINT FUGGIN HAPPENING...in this case it is dibella and world of boxing..simple as that..u dont have 2 networks wanting to be involved it is much easier so the comparison is not their..but i've bashed stevenson and kovalev...and the fact is this kathy said i want to go right to a purse bid and she pulled her guy as soon as she got it when she seen stevenson was not too scared to stay in it...

i dont kno if they stayed here or not but if u think critically first u have them saying "negotiations are going well/smooth"..i think they only came for the wilder fight to scout..and they came back tow in the purse bid..they did not stay here at all...there is footage of their wheels touching down from russia to miami to get to the bid....the next quote was "we are frustrated negotiations are bad"....not here is where i have to think wilder is doing u bad in negotiations but knows he wont win the purse bid and knows he doesnt want to go to russia??? NO NO NO ...AND THEN U HAVE POVETKINS QOUTE "we want make a deal we are going to the purse bid" nearly 2 weeks before the deadline...

so yes i have been following a lot, bc i dont trust russia and germany and when they are on the main stage we ought to give a damn...now sure u could say my quotes are all lies...but the truth is i saw them all here on boxing voice articles...

my only thing is this..i have thought critically about things team povetkin has said and the timeline in which it was said..it all leads me to believe team povetkin faked being interested in making a deal...i'd respect them more if they said we want to go right to purse bid we dont want to waste wilders time or the fans time acting like we want to reach a deal....

See I don't care if they came to an agreement first or if it took a purse bid as long as the two guys are willing to fight and the fight happens. At least its not going to be years in the making, that ****s getting old.

well i do care bc this opens the door for more things to go wrong..i'll blame both parties if wilder drops bc he doesnt want to go to russia, wilder for obvious reasoss but povetkin's team bc they never wanted the fight imo..they wanted the threat of russia to let the fight go when it was clear wilder would fight them in american and they have said they want to fight in america

but wilder is not dropping...and expect it to take about a month until we have an official date...even more BS that we have to sit through..that f's with wilders activity level..he fightst 3 or 4 times a year while povetkin is fighting once a year..

That's because you're a Wilder fan though, you're just assuming Povetkin was playing games, I just want to see the fight. The way I see it they had a purse bid and Povetkin's side won so they want the fight in Russia and if Wilder's people won they'd want it in America, both are to be expected. If Wilder drops the belt because he doesn't want to go to Russia he's an idiot if you ask me and looks terrible so I doubt he'll do that and if Wilder's side won the purse bid and Povetkin refused to go to America I'd say the same about him.

Povetkin is like a tank. He never stops coming forward.

Wilder has to hurt him, maybe drop him early in the fight to gain some respect so that Alexander slows down a little.

He can't afford to be lazy or make mistakes like he did in the Szpilka bout. He has to throw a high volume of jabs and use angles and movement to keep Povetkin off balance. It's going to be the hardest fight of his life.

i break down all things like this bc i wanna know who are the men and who are the boys...this time u dont have political war going on between the two parties so we hae a clear more precise line to see.

well povetkin has already refused to come to america..by saying "we wont deal, we will be bidding" that is my point..it looks to me like they know they have more than a punching advantage in russia/germany and im just calling it how i see it..

u're right i wanna see the fight to, but i dont want to see povetkin vs huck again...im not giving him a pass onthat...thats like me saying he let my little sister go stay the night witha known pedo..and the pedo has said..hey i wont allow any supervision...although wilder is no lil sis he is a world hw champ, but that dont mean he shouldnt have us voicing issues we would voice if it were other fighters....

could u image if billy joe robbed his next opponent in england..and then he said i will only fight ggg in england?? hahaha it would be a crap storm here on him and he's not even povetkin's level
