      Lomachenko

Doesn't speak much English and has no charisma. Also fights at a historically unnoticed weight class.

          Scott Quigg was one really.

Brits are lucky. The fans will always turn out for a good fighter in the end.

Terry Flanagan is another. Good fighters but quite introverted types. Quite a few Brits actually. Ricky Burns too.

Crawford's packing arenas, though, and getting crowds you don't typically see in the United States anymore. They're loud, energetic, and interested. He has star quality and if he keeps winning, almost certainly will be one.

I like Porter, but he's not good enough to be a star. That's what holds him back.

                Errol Spence.....

When Johnny Nelson was interviewing Floyd he asked him about who the future of boxing was or something like that, Floyd said Spence, Nelson says 'does he have the personality to be a big star?'

'ummm.... i'll do the talking for him'

Black American fighters have the hardest time selling themselves because they are expected to be ****y and arrogant. But when they aren't, it simply isn't enough to just be "that good".

It's similar in a way to Mexican fighters who don't have power and prefer to use their feet and move around. Like that one dude, what's his name...Vazquez I think it is. Even though he's alright, the American public refuses to showcase him because he's not a "typical Mexican". Sad but true.

That's not true. Featherweight has made stars of many little men.

What Lomachenko needs, which is the case with most of these younger guys, is to consistently fight top level opponents. You don't need to pull WWE like promos or dance around, you just need to beat good fighters regularly, look good doing it and ****, you're a star.
