Bob Arum's trying to change business tactic is just another sign or symptom of the same disease. Things are not getting better.

Aren't you the one who posted a thread about Haymon's funds drying up? Soon he will be begging for more HBO cards for his fighters. He can't rely on Showtime because it's broke.

bobarum tells us on podcast stephenEspinoza is a great boxing guy and he's interested in bringing fights to @SHOsports
Looks like arum pissed of Peter nelson
Lol cause he's suing al haymon
he's not risking much tho, is he? Don't get me wrong, they're good fights and reasonable fights and they should happen, but...Broner isn't beating Crawford. And that's a hypothetical prediction because Haymon's not putting Broner in with a pulse anyhow - he's sure as hell not gonna do it with a Top Rank fighter. And Loma has too much skill for Cruz, it's a shutout, like a real shutout; 12-0. But still, I'd rather Arum beg and these fights get made than not at all.

I don't think Arum needs mercy tho. You guys seem to forget Arum's age, he doesn't need to promote another fight, and he doesn't need to help Top Rank, he's done his part for a long time, he could retire at any point - I can't imagine anyone would hold it against him.

I don't get what you're complaining about. Isn't this what fans want, see main players in the business reach out to other networks, so that fans will finally see fights they want to see? What's the problem? I for one am glad Haymon is working with HBO people, for example.

If the rumors are true in regards to Peter Nelson, then Arum should take Loma to Showtime, because they're not getting much work anyway and their big event just got scrapped. Mutually beneficial.

What makes you believe loma beats let alone shuts out leo. I like loma too but let's be realistic, he was embarrassed vs salido all he could do was clinch . Leo is 10x better than salido

It was pretty obvious from the start of Lomachenko's career that HBO was going to end up treating Loma like they do Rigo. I'm surprised nobody else noticed. I mean just look at the Salido fight. There was so many things they could have done for Loma (not just HBO but Top Rank) and they didn't. If it was Valdez or Verdejo in that Salido fight do you think they would have done nothing? I find it hard to believe they would have let Salido get away with everything he did if he were fighting Valdez or Verdejo. They would have gotten Salido back somehow.
I predicted these things at the start of Loma's career, it sucks I wasn't posting here yet. I just didn't think it would happen this early.

I like Leo, he's cool, and I recall predicting he has a fairly easy time with Mares, and I thought he did well for the most part. I think he's a good fighter, I just think Loma's better. Faster, smarter, won't be affected by Cruz's power, or lack thereof. Good stamina.

Salido was a tough veteran who fought like a dirty little hoe. I can't applaud a guy for cheating brashly towards victory, but Loma should've boxed better himself. He seemed unprepared for that style and perhaps unnerved by it. I think he's learned from it tho. I don't think Leo is better than Salido, maybe with drug testing.
