This has escalated now beyond Pacquiao. Nike will be associated with *******uality and no one, including those who have nothing against *******uals, will be too embarrassed to wear them. They are going to feel the backlash soon enough. Like that woman who sued her company for ***ual harassment and was paid a million in damages - good for her, but lots of companies are now more careful about hiring women. Can't wait for Nike to realise their PR stunt is going to cost them millions.

There are better ways to show their support. This is really pointless.

But it's good that they made it clear they don't hate gays, just the acts.

I saw someone wrote Nike hasn't actually paid Manny since 2014 and all they did up to this point was supply him nike gear for boxing. If that's the case Nike doing this is only to garner support and a shady move, wonder if they do this at the peak of Pacs career.

You realise the markets in which Nike makes over 60% of it's revenue, North America and Western Europe are quite friendly to the LGBT crowd. For example, support for gay marriage ranges from just over 50 percent in some countries to over 70 percent in others. That is to say, in the markets that actually matter to Nike this is a very good business decision. I can't see this hurting their business. If anything, this is free advertisement.

Live with a woman? Wtf does that even mean? Coz I'm pretty sure many gay men live with women, and many students who stay in communal homes 'live' with woman. Why don't you clarify your statement and stop speaking like the three witches in Macbeth.

I'm not saying people will stop wearing Nike because of Pacquiao. I'm saying they'll stop wearing them so as not to appear gay, like straight men not wearing pink. I live in the West and have replaced all my family’s Nike shirts and footwear with Adidas because my wife doesn't want to be seen as a lesbian and my son doesn't want to be made fun of at school. It's happening already. Nike is becoming the brand of weirdos and degenerates while Adidas and Reebok is slowly becoming the brand of normal people.

It's not though. Nike's market share in the global sports clothing market has risen from between 6 and 7 percent to just under 10 percent in the last 5 years while it's share of the footwear market has increased from 17 percent to around 22 percent and is predicted to continue to rise. Considering those in the biggest markets tend to be pro-LGBT those that will refuse to buy a product because the company is pro-LGBT are outnumbered by those who will buy it I don't see this trend reversing.
