    According to Golden Boy Promotions President Oscar De La Hoya, who promotes WBC middleweight champion Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez (46-1-1, 32KOs), a fight with Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin (34-0, 31KOs) will eventually happen.

    Golovkin, who holds the WBA/IBO/IBF middleweight belts, is the mandatory challenger to Canleo's WBC title.

        Well he still needs to give up the belt. Then he can work on making his body ready for MW and maybe one day he gets the confidence to challenge The Champ

          no matter how long u wait this fight is not going to be in the same stratosphere and mayweather pac oscar.

            I still give credit to Canelo for what he's done so far in the sport; he's taken on fights he wasn't supposed to take, even demanded them. But there's obviously something different going on here. I feel their sparring session has had more affect on him than we're led to believe. I hope I'm wrong because this is too important of a fight to make.

              Lets just marinate about this. .these promoters and fighters think each fight will be as big as Pac/Floyd..it's a joke..y'all can marinated as long as y'all want ..no current fight is or will be as big..pac/Floyd wasn't big bc it took 6 yrs..it was big bc both were da best p4p..and known worldwide...

                I give Canelo credit, but all his live opponents were average punchers or worse. The scorecards are already prefilled. Here he's probably getting knocked out
