Comments Thread For: Photos/Weights: Alex Saucedo vs. Clarence Booth, More

On Saturday, February 13, 2016, the scene shifts to the Sportsmen's Lodge in Studio City, California for Valley Fight Night 6 and another installment of Top Rank's Solo Boxeo Tecate on Unimas. In the 10 round Welterweight main event, 21 year-old Oklahoma prodigy Alex "El Cholo" Saucedo (20-0, 14KOs) takes on the toughest challenge of his young career against Florida's Clarence Booth (13-1, 7KOs). Saucedo introduced himself to Southern California fight fans last year with a spectacular fourth round KO of Jake Giuriceo (17-3-1). But the powerful Booth is riding an 11 bout win streak, with his only professional loss coming at the hands of another undefeated prospect, Cleatus Seldin (currently 17-0). Photos by Mikey Williams.

So I'm guessing Saucedo and Vences are getting the TV spots, while the superior fighters/prospects will once again fight off TV.
Gvozdyk will also not be shown on the TV portion of the Pacquiao-Bradley PPV card. Instead they'll show Ramirez against a bum instead of showing Gvozdyk vs. Mohammedi. Gvozdyk-Mohammedi is even a superior fight to Valdez-Gradovich.
I understand that Unimas is a Latino channel, but Top Rank is not even trying to give these guys any TV anywhere.

Eastern European and Central Asian fighters have to STOP signing with Top Rank! They don't give a shi*t about trying to promote them.
Yet people like to say that Eastern European/Central Asian fighters have everything their way, when it's obvious nobody wants to give them opportunities even when they have Olympic Background, Olympic medalist, World Championships medalist.
Saucedo and Vences weren't even close to being Olympians.

    This bull****!
