Nowhere in that article does it say they had a meeting at HBO and Ward turned down the fight. Keep searching! That rumor came from that fake GGG interview with that russian site. Ward denied it and Loeffler and GGG never said it again.

It does clearly indicate that Loeffler presented HBO with a list of potential opponents that included Ward. Once again here is the article...



I did, however, present you with a tweet from Loeffler's own account that confirmed the initial interview in the Russian. NO ONE has ever disputed anything said in the Russian article. Ward never denied it as far as I know. If he did, I'll reconsider my position. But, if you want to play fair, then the burden of proof is on you. Link please....

Neither Sanchez nor Loeffler have ever said that Ward didn't deserve a fight with Golovkin because of his inactivity.

Virgil Hunter said that Ward would need a couple of tune-ups first, but you conveniently forget to mention that.

Why does your argument center around back when Ward WAS inactive ?

Team Ward approached Team Hypekin TWICE after that.

So why link the article when I asked you to show me Loeffler said there was a meeting with HBO, GGG, Ward and Ward turned down the fight? Ward told Loeffler to stop lying to the fans and Loeffler, GGG, Sanchez never mentioned a meeting at HBO again. GGG was lying when he said that meeting happened that's why that was the first and last time anybody from GGG's camp ever brought it up!

Ward needs to be attacked hard and dirty by elbows and low blows and pokes to the eyes and stepping on Wards feet, head butting and tripping the undefeated Ward.. That's how you beat a slick fast talent like Andre Ward. kids like Ward don't like it rough and usually back away from punishment and dirty tactics. Not only that, Loeffler just said Hopkins is a more attractive fight because he's been more active than Ward. Hopkins hasn't fought in a year and a half and by the time the fight would be made Hopkins would have been out for 2 years. Ward would have fought twice in one year. It's always an excuse when it comes to Ward.

Get this......

I have never heard a promotional company use inactivity as an excuse NOT to make a fight. You take advantage of those situations. You jump on them.

They wanted inactive Froch, they wanted inactive Martinez, they wanted inactive Hopkins.
