Lewis' right cross to the body would have shallocked Bowe's midsection. That was Lennox's best punch in his arsenal and Bowe would have eaten them in coalition with overhand rights.

Bowe has a better shot in this regard, because it increases the chance Lewis could sleep on him.

But that's a step away from asking what would happen if they fought blind folded.

I just can't say how so many people give Bowe a shot here when his mental make up didn't even allow him to man up enough to take the fight.

If he wasn't afraid of Lewis, he would have had an entirely differnt mental make up, and he may have gone on to be one of the all time greats.

There's no doubt he had the tools, but he lacked the mental aspect of the game. At any point in time in the past as it actually was, that would have costed him agaisnt Lennox.

And Bowe came on heaps and bounds in his first few years as a pro, whereas Lewis looked horrible in his early pro years. Yeah, Bowe ****s him. I have no idea where you get this from. Lewis was supposed to be afraid of Ruddock, and he went in and went right through him.

In fact, I'd say that' a good reason prime Bowe didn't want any part of Lewis at that point.

If you pop in the 1st Holyfield Bowe fight, you see Bowe talking to Lewis after the fight and one of the first things he says is "Razor Ruddock was afraid of you".

Ruddock wasn't the only one.
