Why did Floyd feel the need to drain a green kid? What performance of canelo worried Floyd so much.? That he felt impelled to request cw? A cw he knew he'd be criticized for! At the time people told him not to do it but he couldn't help it.

I surely have not made a big deal about only one doing a CW. I have been critical of every CW title fight equally.
to your post I responded to, Manny did beat an older ODH than Floyd. He also beat one that weighed a lot less. Those are just facts.

So why Is It that two of Floyd's best wins(In the minds of most Floyd fans) are fights that he fought at a catch weight after speaking out against fighters fighting at catch weights?
Its kind of weird to think JMM was too small but Pac wasnt and JMM turned pro at a higher weight than Manny....in floyds defense though, the guy has been the smaller guy in almost all his fights over 130....sometimes you're gonna be smaller or bigger, doesnt change the skill set though
JMM was the closest rival and was top 3 p4p.....for me it was the next best thing
he didnt even impose his size, he outskilled Marquez...i never expected that and Marquez is a top notch fighter and behind floyd was the best counterpuncher and definitely the best technical combination puncher of the era
I can see where you are coming from....I dont look at the weights unless its a fighter who is drained not going up in weight.....most fighters cut weight and going up actually benefits most.
I actually wished JMM, barrera and Morales moved up to 130/135 when floyd was there
regardless though, Marquez wasnt gonna beat floyd...when he was at '26 and floyd was at 130, floyd may have been the first to stop JMM. He was just as elusive, more athletic, quicker hands than 09 and had a 70 percent and higher ko ratio

Pac fought delahoya at 147lbs a weight he had not made in 8 yrs Pac did not cheat the scale though.
Floyd fought Marquez at 146 two lbs over the catchweight agreement of 144
marquez fighting @1444 a weight he had never been and fought in his entire life.
do the math dunn and spin it.
SHAME ON YOU

make up your mind genius floyd fan
Floyd fought delahoya @154lbs
proves floyd can fight at 154 easy
why did he drag Canelo down to 152lbs?
what's your excuse

The De La Hoya fight Is another example of Floyd fans criticizing Pacquiao for fighting an old Oscar yet Floyd fought him In 2007 and Pacquiao fought him In 2008. Floyd just barely got the win on the cards and Pacquiao destroyed him. Floyd was supposed to rematch Oscar but retired.
Yup. Floyd claimed it would be a massacre. LoL. That fight proved that Hoya beats him prime for prime. Floyd was in his prime and Oscar was able to think with him and land his jab and body shots. Oscar couldn't move and was stuck in mud, Floyd still couldn't tee off on him like he wanted. Through 8, I had Oscar up one round and then he was finished. And these idiots want to say that Floyd is a better defender than Whitaker. Based on what???????? You couldn't even hit Pea with a jab consistently. He had legs of gold and super reflexes. Floyd has weaknesses, defensively that A Level fighters took advantage of and would've more if he had fought better opposition. That's why I picked Manny to do exactly what he was able to do, injured or not. Manny's sparring partners have gone on to win major belts. He's seen more styles than Floyd. Floyd got out counterd and out landed. He got out smarted too. But he's better than Manny? He sure didn't prove it on May 2nd in his biggest fight ever. Instead, he took our $100 and ran all night, against a smaller opponent. Prime for prime, Manny puts HANDS on Floyd and that's the real reason why the fight never happened. It had nothing to do with Arum/Haymon. Floyd KNEW better. LoL.

I never hated Mayweather when he was active, but didn't care for him either. But post boxing career, man is he running his mouth. I could of sworn he was praising him even after schooling him when he wanted him on his undercards. Where is all this hatred towards Canelo or in general coming from? Is he jealous Canelo is bringing in so much attention or is this Mayweathers way of trying to stay relevant?
