is amir khan a wasted talent??

Ok so I don't like khan, but I cant help but think that he could/could of been good.
He has the speed,he took maidanas punchs, but still has a skeptikal chin, but he does have skill. He's not getting any younger and doesn't seem to want to fight anyone really. What do ye think??

I don't think he could have done much better than he did.

yes he has incredible handspeed but he lacks power AND chin and if you don't have either of them, there's a limit to what you can do.

Won an olympic medal and a couple of world titles, plus made a very good living from the sport, he was a success considering his tools imo.

He can still prove people wrong, I hope he fights Garcia next.

He has a better chance against Danny than Brook.

To stretch a metaphor, Amir Khan is akin to Star Wars' Death Star; coming with all of the bells and whistles, but standing with a fatal flaw that no one ever tried to fix.

Like Klitschko, Khan doesn't react well when he gets hit with clean crisp shots to the chin; the key difference is that Khan doesn't seem to care enough about being the best fighter he can be to actually fix anything.

Khan has good athleticism, arguably the fastest hands at 147, but he falls into the same pattern every fight, before losing focus late and making things difficult for himself

If Floyd hadn't ducked Khan on multiple occasions he most probably would have beaten the current version of Floyd (or at least it would have been a very close fight which most thought he won.) Had Manny not just ducked Khan to fight Bradley again, he would have beaten this version of Manny too. Khan can't stop these guys from ducking, but at least he can look back and say he tried to chase the biggest fights possible, it's just he was too great a threat for the perceived best fighters to risk going up against.

If we're calling having fast hands with arm punches talent, then yes. Otherwise, no.

He is/was good. He just won't fight anyone worth a damn since getting knocked silly. It's not easy to be atg level.

Also having possibly the worst advisors behind him doesn't help lol. Dudes been chasing manny and Floyd for years
