Attendance? Haymon/Schaeffer are notorious for comping out the Barclay. Live gates are rarely reported, good or bad. And when they do get reported, they get tainted with tickets the promoters buy then give away (diff from comps).

I suspect they'll do a little better than Jacobs/Quillin which had 8,442 in attendance, but less than 400k watch on tv for a $3 mill purse.

You could make the same argument for Thurman/Porter supporting itself through commercials.

Using your logic, any lame could walk into CBS/Fox/NBC headquarters and waive the same amount of money as Haymon did and own 2 hours of Saturday afternoon/Sat night programming on those networks.

Those networks wanted to work with Haymon on this PBC concept.

And that 'access to a lot of other people's money', that's kind of the point. You don't see Top Rank, Golden Boy, or dayum near any other business entity financing in full their own operations, do you? When Golden Boy had AEG behind them, was that a problem for you? Hell, Top Rank apparently can't even put on the Walters/Lomo fight without HBO (or somebody) covering an extra 500K for the Axe Man's purse request.

          Come on, bruh.
You're killing these roach as.s mofos.

Keep up the good work and keep your can of Raid handy.

Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results is lunacy. At least most lunatics don't lose that kind of money.

Stay in your lane. He's the one who said Thurman/Porter was a better bargain than Golovkin/Wade, when Golovkin's one of the few fighters who's actually selling out his shows and doing big business in merchandise sales. No one's arguing Thurman/Porter's the better fight, but neither are draws yet.

Do you know how much they're making on commercials? Supposedly commercial sales are supposed to replace what HBO/Showtime would pay. I'm guessing for Thurman/Porter, it's substantially less than what Showtime has been paying for fights. This fight in all likelihood is still living on hedge-fund money.

Waddell & Reed's Investment in Haymon: $82 mil. remaining (of $521 mil.) as of December 31, 2015 self.Boxing

Building off of my last post of the Q3 results from the mutual funds managed by Waddell & Reed that invested in Haymon:
Acquisition cost (initial value) of combined investment: $528,481,000
Market value of combined investment as of September 30, 2015: $214,288,000
Market value of combined investment as of December 31, 2015: $82,354,000
To date, the investment made into Media Group Holdings, Series H (which invested in Haymon Boxing) by the three Waddell & Reed funds (Ivy Asset Strategy, Ivy VIP Asset Strategy, Waddell & Reed Advisors Asset Strategy) has lost 84% of its value. At this rate, the investment will be worth zero dollars by the end of February, which implies that Haymon will run out of funding at that time
Nobody who isn't directly associated with the PBC has a fu.....ing clue about the business dealings of the PBC. Any who claims they do or claims to know how much money PBC has spent or has left in the bank is lying!

How much did Golovkin make on merchandist sales for the Wade fight? What was the live gate for the Golovkin Wade fight? You can't answer these questions because this information has not been made public you don't have a fuc...ing clue. The same applies for the PBC and Al Haymon. No one has a fuc..ing clue about how much money the PBC has or how much they have spent because that information is not open to the public.
