Khan is much more accomplished fighter than Brook, anybody who says otherwise has an agenda or just DSKAB.
In what way was Maidana more proven or better than Porter? Was it because he got outboxed by Kotelnik or Morales? Or looked absolutely shyt vs Chop chop Corley? Or was it his singular win as a complete unknown over prospect Victor Ortiz - basically the only noteworthy thing he did before facing Khan? Or was it that he lost every round against Devon Alexander who then proceeded to get smacked around by the very guy Brook beat?
Porter had fought Le Greco, Devon Alexander, Julio Diaz twice & Paulie Malignaggi before facing Brook. In which possible world had Maidana done anything like that before facing Khan? It seems like you weren't thinking before writing that post or simply didn't follow Maidana at the time.
Not to mention Shawn Porter was a top ranked amateur and was rated top 3 in the world for 3 years straight.
Oh and regarding your last comment - That is seriously idiotic. It's fine if you think Khan is better or will win. But saying he's a much more "accomplished" boxer is just not true. Khan is a much LESS accomplished boxer, especially at the pro game where he tends to fight like an amateur for large portions of the fight and has been found out at much lower level - i.e. Peterson, Aligeri, Diaz, Prescott - Then Brook has beaten i.e. Shawn Porter. Not to mention he's lost to Garcia by KO too. A guy who's only real KO since has been Rod Salka ffs.
So yeah, your post was crap.Last edited by LacedUp; 01-29-2016, 02:40 PM.

He also gave the best fighter of the last 20 years one of the hardest if not the hardest fight of his career. Maidana is a top WW and a dangerous opponent to any WW out there.
As for who's more accomplised, Khan or Brook... Khan is a two time world champion, a guy who fought guys like Maidana, Peterson, Garcia. Unlike Brook he wasn't affraid to take on challenges early in his career before he started acting like a spoiled diva he is now.
Brook, on the other hand has won his title in 2014 and hasn't done anything ever since to prove himself as one of the top WW. All he's done was mentioned Khan's name whenever possible.
So yeah Laced, your post was nothing but a showcase of fanboyism.Last edited by Szef; 01-30-2016, 08:12 AM.

Brooks win over porter was a good start, if only for the reason that if khan was to lose now to brook it wouldn't be so embarassing for khan. But brook is still relatively unknown and that is what khan is holding brook to ransom over, petty I know but it is what it is.
There is no reason why this fight can't be made with compromises both sides.
70 30 seems reasonable and khan should give brook a top up of another 10% if he loses to brook.
There's no obstacle that's too big

I agree that Maidana was in 2014 a top WW, very different from the tough LWW he was in 2010, sandwiched in terrible performances before he fought Khan and lost badly to the guy Porter beat just after.
Khan is a 1-time word champion and yes he has been in with the likes of Peterson, Garcia and Maidana. Do I have to remind you how he lost two of those and barely sc****d by the third?
Do you think Brook is afraid to take challenges? honestly, that's ******. You can't blame him for fighting a mandatory. Not to mention he called out Pacquiao a long time ago, was scheduled to face Devon Alexander three times when both pulled out, only to then face the guy who comprehensively beat Alexander, a top rated WW who some people on this site said would beat Mayweather. He was hyped more than Ortiz and Broner (at WW). Yet, you seem to forget that Porter was a mini-tyson before Brook schooled him. Other than that he offered fights to bradley, khan, marquez, rios and the list goes on.
No not really. Your post was totally uneducated and still is.Last edited by LacedUp; 01-30-2016, 10:29 AM.
