Ricky Hatton has ONLY EVER LOST TO SOUTHPAWS! He had three legit losses in the amateurs - his first-ever loss came against a southpaw in the 1993 Junior ABA final, and he lost when he moved up to welterweight in 1996 against southpaw Jurgen Brahmer (lost twice to Brahmer in his only two fights at welterweight, Brahmer beat him in one round the first time). His amateur record is 76-4 because of a loss to a Russian fighter in Cuba at the Junior World's but that is considered the worst robbery in amateur boxing of the last 10 years, so that doesn't count. So his three legit losses in the amateurs were to southpaws.

Brahmer was a 5ft11 light-middleweight in reality, and Ricky has struggled with other tall fighters apart from Brahmer.. like when he was almost stopped against Gilbert Quiros in Detroit in his 20th pro fight in 2000, because Quiros was a tall fighter who had fought at light-middleweight - same with Collazo!

Ricky got dropped against southpaw Eamonn Magee in the first minute of the first round, and it was an awkward, close fight.

So there you go, just some food for thought.
that becuase hattons a robot one two then hook to the body over and over and over and over but it works great against orthodox becuase that what you wanna throw. which is why he,ll give mayweather trouble.

Fighting at home is actually worse in boxing. Unlike many sports, it is usually a DISadvantage!! MANY fighters have complained about it. They say they feel pressured to do to much in the early rounds, and end up wearing himself out. So he may be tired at the end, and the crowd is the only thing keeping him up, but the crowd was the thing that got him there.

Hatton may be to experienced for this to effect him much, but it will definetly have SOME effect.

Anyway, hatton will KO collaz cause the guys a chump. He doesnt know what he is up against. He doesnt have the power to knock Hatton down. If nobody has KO'd Hatton yet, what makes u think a scrub like collazo can. The first person to have a chance at KOing Hatton is Margarito.

When you have been fighting at home your entire career its different, most fighters dont fight in their hometown for 95 percent of their fights.

Most fighters have more pressure at home because majority of their biggest fights probably didint take place there, like when Judah went home for instance. The US is a much bigger place, fights take place in many more high profile areas than they do in the UK, some careers may not even start in the same state.

I dont blame hatton for fighting at home for some reasons, i mean, a brotha gotta get paid.

Hatton uses variety to what he does, I've never seen him only one-two then hook to the body over and over and over and over.
