What would be the point? GGG would be by far the biggest name any Haymon fighter has been in with.

haymon won't let his fighters on HBO

GBP, K2, main events, and even top rank have allowed their fighters to fight off HBO (when there were no exclusive contracts), but haymon has never reciprocated that i can remember

          Better than no names.
You just gave a description of the Lemieux fight. Ndam won except for the knockdowns. Yeah, I know... they do count.

Not doing so only sets a precedence to encourage Haymon to strip all of HBO's title holders. In the past Pernell Whitaker was allowed to fight off HBO (while under an exclusive deal) to go fight on Showtime. It saves on HBO's budget for a ****ty fight and burns off their competition's budget.
I can see them allowing it on free-to-air tv as that would increase GGG's exposure, but Sho, a direct rival? difficult to imagine.

Tomorrow the WBA announces the time line for Jacobs/Golovkin, could you really imagine HBO allowing Haymon to strip Golovkin of both his titles? They've put in too much effort to allow it. If their offering BJS over $3mill for his title, the titles obviously mean something to them, more so the brand of being the sole champion is at stake.
Yes, if they can guarantee Canelo leaving GGG lineal and a star.

Titles probably do mean something but not enough to see their prized possession fight on their biggest rival's platform independent of HBO.

n'dam's a pretty fun fighter. fast feet, busy hands, huge heart... and a chin that makes khan look like chuvalo

              he'd beat wade imo

That's bull. Haymon has not once said his fighters can't fight on HBO. In fact, he has been willing. Look at Kovalev vs Stevenson. Only reason that fight is even being negotiated is because Haymon allows his fighters to fight on HBO.

I think u misunderstand. If Haymon wins the purse bid, he has every right to choose the network and HBO can't do anything about that. So I'm pretty sure that's why they are even allowing the negotiating.

Haymon doesn't say anything at all.

                      Agreed with all of this.
