I like Wilder a lot, and he seems to be getting better. I'm still on the fence though. If he handles Poverkin, I'll be more convinced.

      He really isn't.
I don't think his chin is as bad as originally anticipated but his technical ability is God awful, almost comical & Its almost miraculous one of these bums haven't bowled him over.

I'm sorry man but 'real deals' don't go tooth and nail with guys like Szpilka and struggle with your Eric Molina's of the world.

Based on what evidence? He's struggled against his last three opponents now, and was on the way to losing his last fight before the knockout. A fighter of his supposed calibre should be putting these guys away with ease, not getting rocked and outboxed by them. That's just embarrassing.

His power is real of course, but at this level he needs to be showing us more than that. Where's the set up? Where's the combinations? Wilder's all blunt force trauma. Smash your opponent with as many big punches as possible until they go down. That's not championship level boxing, and against the better movers in the sport it's simply not going to cut it. Szpilka wasn't even known for his defensive prowess but he was able to make Wilder miss constantly with simple feints and head movement. What's a guy like Fury going to do to him?

Wilder needs to stop admiring himself and get back to the drawing board. He's in for a rude wake up call otherwise.

He's all power. His boxing skills sucks. Considering that, to me he can be the unified HW champion for a while. He can win, but he is not good. He can win because he's huge and hits like a mule. But his boxing skills aren't that good.

Still, I love to see his fights. I prefer him over Wlad every day.

I think he's definitely the best of the heavyweights.

Yeah, he's got great entertainment value. Everyone loves an aggressive knockout puncher.

I don't think he unifies unless he catches Fury on a really bad night, and no way does he have a long reign. At the very least he just takes too much damage per fight not to have that catch up to him sooner or later.

Win or loss against Povetkin I'm a believer in Wilder, his upcoming fight with Alexander is a mighty tough one so contrary to what people are saying If he loses against Povetkin he will NOT have been exposed because Alexander is like the 2nd or third best heavyweight right now with Wilder being the number one - boooooooooooooooooooooooooombbbbb squaaaaaaaaaaad
