I'm not trying to sound like a nuisance, but let's get the damn negotiations for this fight started already. Schit.
Where is Jacobs at? I know he wanted "fair" money to to face Lil G but 10 million ain't gonna happen.

Loeffler said he was going to initiate negotiations with Team Jacobs.

Let's see what comes out of the negotiations and what demands are made. That is if Loeffler does what he said he would do and initiate the negotiations.

I would definitely like to see this fight. I see Golovkin knocking him out but I bet Danny gives a great account of himself before that. Should be entertaining.

Jacobs calls himself a "a-side" fighter and wants mega $ to fight, despite dog **** ratings.
He he brings the money, rules the roost; speaking entirely hypothetically, but if Barclays Center is willing to lay out a $3m site fee to host Brooklyn's own "Miracle Man" Daniel Jacobs fighting Gennady Golovkin, and Showtime is willing to lay out the money for the US rights(with no allegiances either way, international TV rights will likely go to whatever broadcaster in whatever country is willing to lay out the most money for the rights), why wouldn't Jacobs be the "A-side fighter"?

            Would you?
Jacobs-Golovkin, or however you want to tag the marquee, is a massive fight opportunity for Daniel Jacobs; Haymon doesn't come off as a guy who kills opportunities for his guys just because (even in the WBO title fiasco, Peter Quillin got ~$4m over his next three fights, twice in marquee fights in Brooklyn).

With that said, Jacobs isn't going to journey elsewhere for short money.

How is Jacobs or Lara or any of these other PBC guys going to fight on HBO? Explain your version of it.
Last time Lara was on HBO was in 2012 and that was because TopRank won purse bids for the Vanes fight.
The only other Haymon guy since then was Edwin Rodriguez for the Ward fight and E-Rod signed with Haymon shortly before the fight was made.
Why wasn't Wilder vs Szpilka on HBO? Why isn't Garcia vs Guerrero on HBO?
Under new HBO mgmt, I'm sure they will bow down to Haymon's genius plans over some coffee at the rich man's vip club, or a late night gentlemen's club with some coke. Denzel Washington will supervise security.

There you have it. Leoffler also says he's neutral to Haymon/PBC/Dibella. Canelo-GGG won't happen due to 155 lb request. Now let's get the GGG-Jacobs ball rolling

Tom Loeffler has yet to challenge the #1 MW in the division even though he said he would

Quillen got 1.5 for Jacobs and 500k for Lee. I'm pretty sure he didn't make 2 million for Zerafa so 4 million is way off....

Jacobs got 1.5 for Quillen so 2.5 is reasonable for GGG...

Haven't been able to find a definitive guess, but Quillin-Zerafa headlined a PBC card on NBC; it may not have gotten to $2m, but sure as heck was likely over $1m.

Golovkin-Jacobs is a different type of fight, with different economic factors; Barclays Center will put up money to back Jacobs, and Showtime won't be all that much behind.

Why would Jacobs just take $2.5m, when the fight (Golovkin can keep the German TV money to himself, but UK TV/Canada TV/live gate/US television money will add up) is worth significantly more than that?
