    Makes perfect sense.

    Eubanks gets into a position to win a World Title against a beatable Jacobs, which would put him at a huge advantage for a massive rematch vs BJS.

    Instead he takes a low key, low pay, low risk domestic fight against Blackwell.

    Very smart, like having the winning lottery ticket and chucking it away for a big night out a the Brighton bingo hall...

      He's not chucked anything away. He's got that fight next, he simply wants the British title before it's too late...to use your analogy, it's like collecting your scratch card winnings before collecting your lottery winnings.

      Why do only one when you can do both?

        Anyone else think Blackwell gives him a tough night? I dont think Eubank is skilled enough to make it easy on himself and Blackwell is tough as they come.
